  1. Bare Metal Foil or even a Molotow Chrome Pen would do the trick and it would be way less work .
  2. Wow! That is a killer idea!!
  3. Oh yes! Now I can build it without touching my originals!
  4. Well, I thought this car was not built until 1968, after he campaigned a 65 full roof, altered wheelbase car.
  5. This to me is an exhibition vehicle, Big Foot! All it did was crush cars and drive around the parking lot. A far cry from today's Monster Trucks.
  6. Walt Stevens, and later Swingle, both drove it in Fuel, Funny Car and Match Racing
  7. Well, apparently they made a second BH car for exhibition passes https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/boothill-express-where-is-it-now.765383/
  8. The Piranha was an actual competition car, not an exhibition car.
  9. That is totally cool!
  10. Oh yeah! This is a must have kit! Come on Revell, bring it back! Or let Round 2 do it! LOL!
  11. Nice! And the bikes make it pop even more!

Nice build! One of my favorite kits! Lucky to have one un-built and it is always cool to see one built! I wonder in what shape the molds are in. Would be awesome to get some re-issues.
  13. Yeah, I think all of the Revell Racer Figures where the same body with different heads, even Shirley Muldowney's! And don't forget the Mongoos and Snake rails with driver figures and a crew member. And a Christmas Tree!
  14. Oh, we do have some pretty good shows down here and there are some great kits and deals to be found. But, as usual, there are no guarantees. And the Swap Meet you are referring to is the Kobey's Swap Meet at the Sports Arena. I hardly ever find anything good anymore there.
  15. Resto Mod - Restored with some upgrades like EFI engine, newer trans and upgraded suspension. Pro Touring - Heavily Moded suspension, usually a new fabbed chassis, borderline race engine, usually with forced induction of some sort and all the goodies to go with it.
  16. Don't forget these figures
  17. No doubt, but what if they don't have what you are looking for or there is none of this in your area? One must remember that not everyone is as lucky as some of us when it comes to Model Car events and or venues. Buying something vintage online to get exactly what you need for a bit more than a brand new model is not that bad.
  18. Exactly, if you figure how much some of the ebay stuff goes for, this is not bad. Plus, for some kits that are out of production or first issues, the prices are only slightly more than a new kit.
  19. Both kits should be back soon.
  20. It had some good stuff and some pretty terrible stuff. When I saw what they did to a 1/16th Dragster, that made the cover, I wanted to fly to England and slap the builder!
