  1. Yes, that idea did cross my mind. Thinking of using the parts out of the flip nose 57 or 53 Ford Pick up.
  2. Oh wow! That is nice!
  3. That is one sad list
  4. Great work, Mattia! Super clean and a great subject! Bravo!
  5. Clean little car! Nice build!!
  6. Oh yeah!
  7. Honestly, I was hoping we would get at least one shot of the Flip Nose version that was not the monster truck.
  8. Wow, sad to lose another modeler. Condolences to his family, friends and the model community.
  9. My bodies came from Fremont Resin and where copies of an original MAG kit. Skip Samples put the body together and cut out the cowl section for a better fit and look. The side engine plates are still the original kit size and need to be trimmed to look more like the movie car.
  10. Wow, this is a super nice kit and you are doing a super nice job! A fellow model club member just built one and said it was an absolute jewel of a kit. Now the challenge is on to make a Hot Rod out of one
  11. No worries, just trying to help. But, I do have a spare resin body if you would like to borrow that.
  12. Sadly, he made these decals with an Inkjet and thus they do no have the white underlay, which I think he was making with the ALPS
  13. Well, I was offering them to you since you have someone who can do decals.
  14. Would you be interested in using the decals I used? If I can find my spare set. They where corrected by my friend when he did them to more closely match the real car.
  15. Oh yeah! It came out killer!!
  16. What makes you think the box is going to change?
  17. Thanks! The Decals where done by my late friend Skip Samples, he actually modified them to fit the kit better as the original ones are a bit undersized. He also mastered the body and Fremont Resin sells/Sold it. If I could find someone to do decals I would have them duplicated. Also, I should have run the plug wires over the valve covers so they would be more visible instead of under the zoomies. I know that the Cal Charger FED was being restored, but I have not heard a thing about the Milner car
  18. Some good reading http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/more-american-graffiti-dragster.123698/ http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/john-milners-dragster.432838/ And here is my version using a resin body and some decals a friend made a long time ago. Sadly he has passed away a few years ago.
  19. I have most of this bike, might just mod what I have to build something out of it.
  20. Want!! And the crazy part is that most of these, if not all , have been released by Revell Germany at some point.
  21. Yes, the Freedom and Grim are the same tool, but a Monogram tool. Revell was a totally different, and better, tooling.
