  1. What a great save! Wish Revell/Monogram would re-release them again, Or whatever still exists.
  2. Wow! Totally a different take on a old classic. Very cool build!
  3. Oh yeah, it works best when airbrushed
  4. It really is 1/32nd. I had the C Cab hot rod and a T-Bucket style rail from the series and they had those wheels as well. Pretty nice detail for such simple kits.
  5. Wow! That looks almost like the one I never finished, yet! I used a combination of the Revell and Tamiya kits. I look forward to seeing you finish this beast!
  6. I only use Tamiya Flat White when doing any type of tire markings and a white Gel Pen for small tire markings.
  7. Heck! Now I want to find an Iron Horse!! Or a SuperStang
  8. I found one a few weeks ago, and in good shape, for only $20 as well. I am very surprised AMT has not re-issued it.
  9. Wow! I have never seen that one! Lucky Duck! And Happy Early Birthday!
  10. Some folks I know painted them from the inside to give them more depth in either silver or gold.
  11. That paint really pops! And yes, the trans is a wad of plastic begging to be thrown out! I started one of these when they first came out, need to finish it someday.
  12. I hereby award this Thread "The Lead Balloon" Award!
  13. Wow, this brings back a few memories! Loved these kits when I was a young kid. Definitely a Holy Grail for me.
  14. So, how long before you start scratching up a chassis for this one? LOL!
  15. I have an original and a couple of re-issues. It is a very cool kit of a very unique car and there is the problem, it is unique only to that car. Kit bashing can be done, but, it is basically a modified Young American/Garlits car. Those are more easy to kit bash.
  16. Just the Super Bug is all I want
  17. Nope, those things are everywhere and super cheap. I will do you a favor, send it to me and I will give you $10 for it. And only because I am a nice guy! LOL! But seriously, you owe that friend some lunch!
  18. Warm Soapy water and a soft toothbrush
  19. Maybe find a new kit, like a Challenger or Camaro and see if they have those on their valve covers and then shave them off. Or, find someone with a 3D printer
