  1. I think they need to bring back your future #3 purchase!
  2. Wow, absolutely nothing. Those Barris kits are still easy to find from the last issue. I guess they are trying to cash in on anything with his name while they can.
  3. No, they are about right for the time period of the car. One must remember that Dragsters and equipment evolved rather quickly in the 60's
  4. Don't ask me why, but the "Mother Cherry Pie" kit is one of my all time favorites. I have probably never finished one, but, I think I own like three of them! Madness I tell you! LOL!

  6. Now that looks like a very fun build! Box art builds, especially vintage ones, are some of my favorite builds. Great job!
  7. I think we are on a holding pattern. Maybe next summer? I hope not.
  8. Oh great! Now I have to find me one! Thanks! This is pretty cool, I have never seen one.
  9. A few years back they announced that they where going to re release them, but, stories started coming out about damaged and missing tooling. Then the whole thing just died. I think the Willys was the one that was not available.
  10. Wandered into the LHS and wandered out with a Comet! The '32 was a Michael's score.
  11. This little gem taught me never to try it again! Now I know it is an IMC kit, but back then it just turned me off to anything Testors!
  12. I think I have tried three times to build this, mostly when I was younger, and never quite got it right. So many little fragile parts and no patience makes for a terrible building experience for a kid! Might have to try it again now and see how it goes.
  13. That is one sharp pursuit!
  14. Let us not forget Sir Duke!
  15. This is the only thing I use when stripping Tamiya lacquers
  16. Merry Christmas to you and all! From San Diego, CA
  17. I do remember that 510! A friend of mine sent me the link when he found it. It was a pretty cool build and glad it is going strong! Also, even though I am a Datsun guy, I must give props to the old school Toyota 18RG
  18. The L Series Nissan engines where quite flexible and many aftermarket and factory items where made for them. Like twin cam conversions.
  19. I do miss my Datsun L-18 with dual Mikuni carbs. That was a workhorse of an engine. This is the Paul Newman version
  20. I am biased toward Nissan, especially the SR series. Not much needed to make tons of power

  22. Awesome! Glad i didn't pay $200 at a show once! Now I can have a new one for a fraction of that!!
  23. Wow, that is a stunner! Great detail and finish! Which kit did you use for this one?
  24. Here is the engine again in color
