  1. It looks oddball enough for me to want one.
  2. Very nice! Yes, they make some very nice pieces and have great service. I want to buy more, but, I need to build what I already have!
  3. Funny you mention that, I was just looking at some extra rotor decals to use on mine. But, I am just going to paint them a dark metallic color and make them fade into the background.
  4. I hope the Vending Machine kit comes in its original style box art. That last version was pretty lame and the fact that the Coke decals where gone made it worse. And if I remember correctly, that Garlits car was not that great of a seller back when it was issued the last time. Hope it sells better this time around. I am surprised they have not brought back any of the fuel altered kits.
  5. I have a Flap Jack, but sadly, it is incomplete and it would be nice to have new one! Another Daniel's kit I would like to see would be the Unreal Roller and for a Deal's kit, I would really like the Super Spurt Chevelle Funny Car.
  6. That does it! I am getting one! Maybe two!
  7. Ran into a fellow club member up at the Hot Rod Reunion this weekend and asked me if I had any of the Revell 30 Ford kits, I said yes, he said good! I asked why. Apparently someone in China dropped the tool for it and it is pretty damaged. He told me he was told by a local hobby shop after he tried to order some more and apparently they where trying to get some more for stock. So, anyone have anything on this? Shades of the Aurora train wreck?
  8. Well, maybe not funny cars, but...
  9. Now, back to what the OP asked. No, Revell / Monogram did not offer a Ford 289 with Webers.
  10. Correct indeed, I would like to know how the body compares to the Tamiya curbside version. I have not seen one of the Tamiya Savanna kits in some time.
  11. Sorry, I was talking about the second gen RX-7 as a possible engine donor.
  12. Other cool thing about the Mazda, other than an engine in it. is that it is in 1/24th and thus we can use some of the nice wheel set ups from Asian kits and the Turbo Rotary from the Tamiya kits!
  13. As much as a 4X4 of the Suburban would be cool, and I hope it does come later, the stock or 2wd, i think is a more common version for everyday type of vehicles. Service, Push/Pit truck and family truckster. I know it is not the same year or make, other than GM, but this is what I have in mind for it.
  14. If the wheels from the cafe version are still in it, I will be buying a few or trading with those who choose not to use them! They are perfect for vintage foreign cars!
  15. That's funny, you got it totally backwards. Good for you and your bad observations.
  16. Now that you mention it, that is totally a customized model . Not the box stock kit. The front grill is closed up and yes, the wheels have been replaced. I guess I got duped by the Model King! Now that is some serious misrepresentation of what is in the kit.
  17. I vote for the Cafe Racer! But the stock if fine also
  18. It is a purpose built machine, and that purpose is to show off the sponsors! Not a concourse correct numbers matching machine.
  19. Well, it all depends on what was on the lass issue of the kit, The Model King version and from what I can see on the box art, it has the original style wheels. And hopefully not these
  20. Beat it, beat it until you can not beat it anymore! Let it out! Hop on a bus, makes signs and occupy Revell HQ! No Accuracy, No Purchase! No Accuracy, No Purchase! Model Kit Accuracy Matters
