  1. Ok, then how about something more flexible in other ways.
  2. Trust me, i want to cry about the stuff I left behind!
  3. Dyno Don box with a Jo Han 69 GTX Funny Car in it! And funny chassis for the Rebel SST and some extra stuff! MPC 74 Dodge Pick Up. Mostly complete and missing the bike. I found the bike later, but, it was in another box and he would not let me move it over, unless I bought that box as well AMT 1966 Impala box with two of them in it! They are both mostly complete and very restorable! And finally, an AMT 67 Ford Falcon that is mostly complete and quite restoreable. It is rare to score like this, but when it happens, do let it pass you by!
  4. 65 Barracuda, and there are two in the box! Built up but restoreable Jo Han Rebel SST that was in a Javeling box. I found the Javelin AMX in another box, funny car build, but I was out of spending cash by now. MPC 69 Coronet R/T Funny Car in a 65 Mustang Box. Apparently this is the STP SuperHemi
  5. So, there was a Comic Book show this weekend here in San Diego and my little Brother went to check it out, next thing I know, he is sending me pics of vintage kits! So, he picked up the Dyno Don Pinto for me and I went today to grab some more. The deal was that all boxes where $20, and whatever was in it, just came with it. So, after digging around and sadly leaving some choice stuff behind, here is what I got. The Pinto is missing parts, but, there are two bodies in the kit and it was never touched otherwise. I grabbed the Monaco mostly for the box as mine is in sad shape, but, the box is holding three bodies. No chassis for any of them and lots of loose parts The Ford Mach ! is all there. Some work was done, but it can be cleaned up and fixed
  6. Nice to keep track of them! According to a faint memory, mine should be somewhere under a pile of kits in my model room or in my storage! LOL!
  7. Simple, there are tooling issues. Why is this so hard for some to just understand Supply and demand apparently was not met before this happened and now some are capitalizing on selling to those that missed out. I say just wait. Build something else in your pile and then build a 30 when they come back with them. I don't even know where I put mine!
  8. Condolences to his family, friends and the modeling community Vaya con Dios
  9. Huh, I still don't have one.
  10. "Up In Smoke" Special Van
  11. "Aloha Bobby and Rose" Camaro
  12. I borrowed a Horizon from a friend of mine to take my driving test back in the 80's! Crazy little car, but it got the job done!! Even then the poor little car felt extremely dated.
  13. That is a nice clean build!
  14. I like the direction this is going
  15. That is the Murderers Row of Gassers! Very nice!
  16. But I just thought of something that would gum up the works, licensing and the fees that go with them. We can always hope that some of these drivers, or their estates would be sympathetic to the model building fans and not gouge Round 2 for license fees. Some independent decal makers got away with it because they do not mass produce and usually keep it on the down low. Then there are the big name decal makers who got and get the permission to do them and pay the fees. So sadly we would just be getting more generic, lame, decals for the drag kits.
  17. Looks like you re-purposed a Tony Nancy Double Dragster chassis to make yours. That is a clever idea.
  18. Chimp sold separately!
