This hobby has gone from models being just a block of wood and four wheels, with a vague idea of what it was supposed to be, to 3-D Printed Replicas. And still, they both require the skill of a builder to make them whole and finished. The skill is what is on trial at the shows, and it should be. You can buy the most detailed 3-D kit around, but if you lack skills, then it will be not so good. So unless you can 3-D print modeling skills, then I really don't see the big fuzz about it. Just my thoughts.

The most unique parts of this kit are the body and the interior "tub" and if that tooling survived, it should be able to be re issued, as the chassis is the same as the Judge funny car.

I have been in contact with Steve G. and he informed that someone accidentally sent me an old one vs. the new ones. A new one will be sent to me. Thanks for the help, Steve G.!

Nice to see you got the buck for the M/T Attempt 1! I remember that sitting in his living room, with tons of his 1/16 funnies he was producing for Racing Champions at the time. Sure miss him every time I go to the Hot Rod Reunion.

Yeah, I nearly fainted when he told me that! But he did give me a box of Revell 1/16 test shots in various colors! He had the remains of one of the articulated molds to make the 1/16 engine blocks that got busted up when an employee was not paying attention and tried using it in the wrong working order. I wonder if his son might have it in his possession?

This is why I used to look forward to seeing the late Tom West at the races and catch up with him, he would always tell me a tale or two about the industry. I should have recorded some of it, but, then again, I don't think some of it was printable for mass consumption! LOL!

Back in high school I was hanging out after school in the parking lot with some friends when we noticed a bunch of kids pushing a station wagon back and forth. I asked what was going on and they told me they where trying to pop start it! I asked how do you pop start and automatic and they laughed, it was a 4 speed! I took a look to see if I could help and that is when one of us realized that the key was on the off position! Yup, we got it pop started after that got corrected! It was a 1971 Torino wagon with a 351 and a top loader 4 speed! The girl who was driving it claimed her dad ordered it like that after he got back from Vietnam! This was around 1985 or so.

Let me know when you start paying for a storage room for them. LOL! 🤣
