Daddyfink replied to GMP440's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Apparently it is coming! But everyone is more excited about the Dodge Widebody. Lame. -

AMT 2023 Ford Bronco Outer Banks
Daddyfink replied to Jordan White's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Very true, no doubt I will probably end up getting one later, but, I was just curious after my LHS said they where not stocking it, unless someone ordered one, as they still have a few on the shelves. -
AMT Mopower Funny Car coming November
Daddyfink replied to Dragline's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
The nose is the biggest downfall to this kit, if it would have had the earlier nose, it would have been closer to the real deal. -
AMT 2023 Ford Bronco Outer Banks
Daddyfink replied to Jordan White's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
So, who is buying these? Because my LHS is not ordering any of these due to poor sales of the first issue. -
Moebius 1971 Lifted Ford F250 4x4 announcement

Maybe these threads need to be merged -
This has to be one of my favorite kits from Tamiya. Builds up so nice and the fact that it is a curbside, but a really well detailed curbside, doesn't affect the sense of satisfaction when you are done. Plus there are some really cool decals out there for this kit.

Sven posted pics of his build on his Instagram account, and it is gorgeous! This is a during build pic. And done... -
Any new info on the Moebius '67/'68 Chevy pickups?
Daddyfink replied to Can-Con's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Moebius is smart, they are concentrating on getting one thing right first. Plus they do not have the budget to be doing multi tool mods like Revell. -
Moebius Wrecker Truck Announcement
Daddyfink replied to Erik Solie's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Apparently they are now on the water. So yes, October it is. -
Jay Leno's 300SL Gullwing
Daddyfink replied to Phildaupho's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
It would be neat if someone made the number decals for Jay's car. -
Cool build! And in case you need a Diorama idea....

Oh yeah, he had some stories! He was responsible for hacking the Stock Car Charger 500 into the General Lee! LOL! Then there where the Revell stories..... But yes, Milestone was his baby after working with Action Collectibles. Lots of cool stuff.

Revell Dune Buggy ID Question
Daddyfink replied to oldcarfan's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
It is basically a copy of a Chenowth buggy -
My LHS bought out a collection and some of the car kits in the collection have started to trickle out onto the shelves, and this was one of them! Not a very exciting kit, but, it was the remnants of the old price tag that pushed me over the edge, Play Co Toys and Hobby, which used to be a bit from where I grew up and holds lots of good memories. Sadly, Play Co closed down in the late 90's to early 2000's.

Why do you model?
Daddyfink replied to Matt Bacon's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Fame, Fortune, Women and the Exotic Locals Oh, you meant styrene models! I like cars.
