  1. I know who he is, I know what he did. Why does everyone feel like giving history lessons on this guy. So Ford and Mickey Thompson didn't design those cars? Keeler did?
  2. Oh, absolutely, Keeler was a big part of the early days of the hobby and lots of credit is due to him, and yes, he was quite instrumental in the design process, but I would not really call him a designer, but that is just me. I voiced it out loud and apparently met some resistance. And that is all I have to say about that.
  3. I know who Keeler is, I just would not call him a designer. Tom Daniels, Yes, Barris, Yes, Keeler, not so much.
  4. What did he do that is original to him? Consulting is not Designing
  5. How is Keeler the designer? All the parts are pre made items. By that, I mean, Pontiac Engine, Chassis Research Chassis, etc.. He came up with ideas to kit, the rest is just parts someone else designed. Atlantis moving stuff around would alone make it their design. Right?
  6. Mooneyes uses a Dragmaster Chassis, the Scarlet is a Chassis Research K-88 Dogsled chassis
  7. Well, seeing how well the Chevelle Funny Car did, I don't think there will be a lack of want for the Olds. There are lots of us who have a few missing pieces in the collections, and having the ability to fill it with a kit we can save and build, is pretty appealing.

  9. Anyone of these to teach you some humility! LOL!
  10. My LHS finally got some, and they are gone!! And apparently already on backorder
  11. Yes! I would like a couple of them!! There is this old posting of a resin unit with some info
  12. Does this mean I can't have fun with the AMT kit?
  13. Turbonique optional!
  14. so it begs the question, do they still have it? It is basically the Ohio kit, but with the better nose. Making a proper opening using this nose would be tons easier.
  15. I am surprised that someone like Slixx Decals has not done the correct ones for this kit, and someone has not done a correct nose for it.
  16. From fellow Model Club member Bruce Snyder. He stopped at Pegasus on his way to GNRS. "First I stopped at Pegasus hobbies and picked up a few models and talked to Larry the owner of Pegasus and Moebius models. Asked about the in the works Chevy ramp truck…….he is remeasuring the cab as the current specs are not totally as accurate as he wants….. This ram-truck will probably not be out until late in the year. The Maverick is about ready to be produced…..different issues will be coming hopefully in 5-6 months. The AWB and street versions of the 65 Dodge are about to be started in the mold process and expected to be produced late this year… Got a picture of this Ford tow truck on the shelf……coming soon"
  17. Fellow Model Car Club member Bruce Snyder stopped by Pegasus on the way to GNRS and got some info on some kits, here is what he was told on this kit. "The AWB and street versions of the 65 Dodge are about to be started in the mold process and expected to be produced late this year…" So as Mr Mopar's post shows, it will be later this year indeed.
  18. I have a couple of hefty bags full of parts that came from two liquidated collections. I am pretty sure there probably some complete kits in there, but I have not sorted it out! And yes, this is on top of my own spares collection!
