  1. Mmmh, this made me think, and yes, looks like a bit of photo editing went on back then for this release. The wheels look a bit out of sorts. But, they look like that in real life.
  2. Slixx just worked fine for me, but, I am having issues on this site! For some reason the like button is not working for me. I get a message saying "Sorry, there was a problem reacting to this content"

  4. I would say that they are the same ones.
  5. We expect the Eye of the Storm to hit us by 3:00 PM So far just steady rain and some wind. I am in San Diego, btw.
  6. Nope, just getting ready for Hurricane Hilary! But have fun at The Best of the West IPMS Show!!
  7. I wish it had been, I would have purchased one!
  8. Another great video on Revell Chrome in a can.
  9. Yeah, Monogram and Revell where both way behind AMT and MPC on actual funny car kits, so these hacked together jobs filled the gap until they could make something newer. And when they did, well, the rest is history!

  11. So, they finally got the Revell 71 Mustang at my LHS, but, I ended up with the last one and the box is a bit banged up, but luckily the kit is fine.
  12. Come on Tamiya, just make it a 1/24 kit!
  13. Come on Revell AG, do it!
  14. Still waiting for my LHS to get some in
  15. Maybe if they are boxed in a Euro style or US style box? Otherwise it should be the same kit.
  16. I have so many Slixx and misc decals for these cars, that blank kits would be very welcome!
  17. My comments are mainly about show rods, fantasy cars and the like. I didn't say anything about goofy modified road cars, and that is the Get Off My Lawn thing I was making reference to. I know they barely work, if at all, but they where made to make us ooh and ahh, and fire up our imaginations. Honestly, who would go riding around in this thing in real life?
  18. Ok, this is turning into a bit of a "Get Off My Lawn!" moment. Let's keep it on track. These are wacky show rods, they look wild, and that is all it is, just show. As a kid, I was enthralled by these things. I had no idea if it worked or not, but it looked cool! Now I know better and it makes me chuckle, but hey, it worked on me as a kid. So don't try to take it too serious, it is just for fun.
