  1. Well, it was the Big Rig influence of the times. Not their best work, but anything to sell a few more units!
  2. Yeah, sadly Revell didn't even come close to stock with their vans, the 1/25th scale van is basically a shrunken down 1/16th van. All custom with not stock parts. I have both kits, actually most of the vans Revell made, and they are cool, but huge. And the MPC Ford Van is in 1/20th scale. Wish they would have done them in 1/25th as well.
  3. They are out there, and at not that bad a price.
  4. Yes, that would be nice to get again.
  5. The dual body version has been released not too long ago
  6. The Big Bad Van is 1/16th scale. Revell did a couple of large vans, both have not been seen in quite some time, not sure if they would really sell anymore
  7. In my humble opinion, the Revell 82 Z-28 is a more nicely detailed kit.
  8. After years of wanting one, and almost paying the collectors price, it was nice to finally get it, brand new, at the LHS for a good price
  9. You might want to find this one...
  10. So, today I found the stash at a local store, they are at the end of a shelf area, next to some indoor shop, and covered by a ad board for that said shop, I was standing in line when I caught the corner of kit peeking out. If I was not so bored, I would have missed it! Well stocked and not just random leftovers. Same prices as before, nothing on clearance, yet. And for any locals, it is at the College Grove Walmart, shelves next to the registers.
  11. Have not seen a single kit shipper this holiday around here. Maybe they are done messing with them.
  12. I am sure they can make the tires wider for some of you....
  13. Oh wow! I have not seen that at CVS. Looks like I will have to hunt around for it a bit. Thanks for the info!
  14. Hey, Round 2, since you are on a Postal kick lately...... And yes, I find it odd that it is a NASA photo!
  15. Well, considering it includes 4 figures and the Amphicat, that is actually not a bad price. But I am sure he will end up doing just the figures when the kit comes out.
  16. Well, they would have to make a new hood for Eleanor, as it was a flat hood, right?
  17. It would be easy for AMT, and later Revell, to do the 1971 Mustang "Eleanor" cars with just slight mods. The 2000 film version would probably require a new tool
  18. I might be the only dissenting voice in this, but I could care less for that car. I am so sick and tired of that being the standard for vintage Mustangs. Plus I am sick of Gun Metal anything. The most overused and overplayed color for a car. Rant over. Your mileage may vary.
  19. Yes, wider wheels would really make it come alive
  20. I found all of the interior pieces bagged up inside a spare parts goodies box at a kit show. Great for making a work van or even a Garage Diorama. Would be great to see this version of the van back
