  1. Maybe just post an ad in the Wanted section for those parts and just replace them.
  2. JoHan made a full detail kit and a Promo, that later became an unassembled easy kit
  3. I would love to see some early stuff done, but, the biggest problem I see with that is the limitations of the chassis for the kit maker. Most of these cars where one off types, or made by someone in their garage or shop for themselves. Sure they can be adapted to bash different cars, but for the kit maker, how many different versions of the Greeks early Chizler can you make? Now, with that said, The Surfers car, which was made by them in a motel garage, is base on the Chizler, so that is a second possibility.
  4. Yes, Union Model managed to get the Revell Datsun molds and make a few kits back in the 80's. The BRE 510, Z, and the Brock Buster where done by them. For a long time, they where one of the only available issues of these kits, the other being Lodela of Mexico and their re-issues of these kits. I only know this because I am Datsun Nerd! LOL!
  5. Listen to what he says around 5:09
  6. You are correct! Those are it! Wish these would come back, they are so much nicer than the current ones being offered. I thought they where part of the MRC line, but it has been a while since I have played with them. Their Turbine Wheels are also very nicely done.
  7. Well, I used the slotted style wheels with the BFG tires and they look pretty good to me. These came in the plastic bags, not in the boxes like the ones shown. So they might be older.
  8. Why is everyone ignoring the biggest news yet!? The Lighthouse is coming!!!
  9. Well, until Revell digs up the molds, this is should do in a pinch, if you really want a Buick in your rod.
  10. That will depend if Prudhomme, his daughter, agrees to it. His licensed items are controlled by his daughter, and for quite some time, she held on to it pretty tight. Slixx made every decal out there for McEwen, but nothing for Prudhomme, because she said no. Things have changed a bit, and hopefully they allow Revell to use his name again.
  11. Well, I guess I will just wait and see like everyone else.
  12. Yes, that would be a cool engine to get back, but, I think it is the same one that is in the Tommy Ivo Showboat dragster.
  13. So now there really is a Maverick coming? Wow
  14. Probably the Dog Sled chassis Scarlet Screamer
  15. Just as an FYI, I work at the San Diego Community College and we offer FREE 3-D Printing Classes in our Continuing Ed programs. And yes, we have the latest in 3-D Printers. So check out your local Community College and maybe take a class in printing.
  16. Dump truck for me! Otherwise, I am good to go!
  17. Me too, the Revell Desert Rat Datsun is one of my all time favorites! I never built the MPC Datsun back then, but I am looking forward to tackling it now.
  18. My apologies, I should have double checked it before I posted it. Sorry
  19. Apparently my friend got the list from a Mike Powell, who sells resin and kits. Apparently a friend of Dave Burkett and some of the folks at Moebius I am just passing it along. Bummer if it is a hoax.
  20. The MPC version came with the 4 Cyl. L Type engine.
  21. Actually, it was quite popular. It had a great run from 1973 to 1979 The Revell version did not come in a stock version at all. It has the same generic chassis as the Ford Courier and the Chevy Luv, and it is way out of scale. The MPC kit is the closest to an accurate 620 as it gets. Sans the Gasser and Monster truck versions.
