Apparently my friend got the list from a Mike Powell, who sells resin and kits. Apparently a friend of Dave Burkett and some of the folks at Moebius I am just passing it along. Bummer if it is a hoax.

Actually, it was quite popular. It had a great run from 1973 to 1979 The Revell version did not come in a stock version at all. It has the same generic chassis as the Ford Courier and the Chevy Luv, and it is way out of scale. The MPC kit is the closest to an accurate 620 as it gets. Sans the Gasser and Monster truck versions. -

I was really joking about dumping them on ebay since that seems to be the case when we get re-issues or new kits of something considered dead and gone. But I don't blame those who do it, I blame those who buy them with no research and then cry about it. Trust me, it has happened to me. As for replacing the Jo Han tooling, yes, I think this will end up being way better as far as detail is concerned. We all can't get that stuff anymore, but it will be nice to have fresh plastic, with more detail, available to us once again.

Yeah, I was lucky enough to grab a couple off the store shelves before they disappeared. The LHS had old stock that was not moving, that is until people figured out that JoHan was done! Then it dried up real fast. Yeah, I am keeping my stuff, but, there is always a dump when things get announced.

Time to start dumping them on fleabay!

Don't worry, it will eventually evolve into Mopar Dog Dish Hub Caps or something.

I highly doubt his lack of domestic kit knowledge is based on his taste for foreign cars. I own a Datsun 510, and that has yet to make my memory dump domestic knowledge. He probably just doesn't research much or is not that much of a car guy. He was most likely asked to or volunteered to do these vids. And he is doing what they want, to show you what is next. They could just do a slide show with some release dates and that would work just as well. I am just goofing on his repetition of certain lines that make him appear nervous or unprepared.

We should make a drinking game for his videos! LOL! He's gotten so much better with his videos, you can see his confidence go up more and more.

Was he saying "Lastly in Automotive" after every kit? LOL! 66 Mustang is a go for me! And a Sod Buster for sure

Happy AMT/IMC/MPC/Revell Day!

Looks like we missed the boat on 1/16 Day. Bummer. -
It is nothing against Salvinos or their kits, it is just what I find interesting or not. Their kits are very nice, and I do have a few of their early types, but the new stuff just does not interests me. But, if the crank your handle, have at it and who cares what we think. Yes, some have to just voice our feelings sometimes, some with a simple meh or yawn, and some with outright disdain. But that is the way of the boards. It all can't be Rainbows and Puppy Dogs. But, all threads end in some crazy Mopar Hub Cap discussion anyway!
