Pick Up from the LHS and the local kit show this weekend

I highly doubt his lack of domestic kit knowledge is based on his taste for foreign cars. I own a Datsun 510, and that has yet to make my memory dump domestic knowledge. He probably just doesn't research much or is not that much of a car guy. He was most likely asked to or volunteered to do these vids. And he is doing what they want, to show you what is next. They could just do a slide show with some release dates and that would work just as well. I am just goofing on his repetition of certain lines that make him appear nervous or unprepared.

We should make a drinking game for his videos! LOL! He's gotten so much better with his videos, you can see his confidence go up more and more.

Was he saying "Lastly in Automotive" after every kit? LOL! 66 Mustang is a go for me! And a Sod Buster for sure

Looks like we missed the boat on 1/16 Day. Bummer.

It is nothing against Salvinos or their kits, it is just what I find interesting or not. Their kits are very nice, and I do have a few of their early types, but the new stuff just does not interests me. But, if the crank your handle, have at it and who cares what we think. Yes, some have to just voice our feelings sometimes, some with a simple meh or yawn, and some with outright disdain. But that is the way of the boards. It all can't be Rainbows and Puppy Dogs. But, all threads end in some crazy Mopar Hub Cap discussion anyway!

I think Mattel did away with the "Price" on the box code, which would apparently been $2 bucks on the Monogram coded one. But, I could be wrong, as I am only going on what I can barely remember. And it was 1970

Well, it was the Big Rig influence of the times. Not their best work, but anything to sell a few more units!

Yeah, sadly Revell didn't even come close to stock with their vans, the 1/25th scale van is basically a shrunken down 1/16th van. All custom with not stock parts. I have both kits, actually most of the vans Revell made, and they are cool, but huge. And the MPC Ford Van is in 1/20th scale. Wish they would have done them in 1/25th as well.

They are out there, and at not that bad a price.
