    This one is done. It was great kit with no problems and good decals. The gold disks for the Warsteiner and the BMW badges were excellent. The WIP is here BMW WIP

    The Color Place so called primer is a grey enamel not real sandable primer. It tears and does not feather well

    The Ps-290 is made in Japan not China and is very much the quality of Iwata , I have it and the Iwata Eclipse and Revolution.

    Nick it's great hear from you. I am still building but I have been pretty sick the last couple of years. I don't get as much done. I don't get to the meetings that often. I am glad to hear your dad is building. You guys should come to our meetings at the Mechanicsburg Library at 10:00 on the third Saturday of every month. Bill Geary started it.  My builds are on the forum. Got some very good Beemax kits of the Group B rally cars. Check out this video on those cars.

    Nice one. You can get good replacement decals from indycals.com That era F1 car was pretty amazing. They had 90 Cubic Inch engines, this car had 1300bhp in qualifying.

    Contact Tamiya America for a new hood. Give them the sprue number and kit.

    I like it. I always use a flat sponge in my water.

    Exactly what I've been doing. Just tilt the jar a bit and lightly spray. Also there is zero loss of paint. I also do this with my gravity feed airbrushes when I need a small amount. For touch up with a brush just spray some in the can lid.

    Thank you Jonathon. It's great to see the put in tabs and sockets on the rear deck to keep it aligned with the main body. The real cars used that system.

    Very nice build.An interesting fact about these cars is the way the exhaust pipes turn down at the end. It was to reduce the noise of the cars because of sound restrictions in place at most tracks.
