BTW NA$CAR programming is the reason you cannot see the race on FoxSports 1. Another reason I hate NA$CAR and never 10 seconds of their races.

As soon as I saw that picture I made it my desktop wallpaper. I can't wait to see it race. I do wonder if that rear diffuser is legal within the current rules. the fuel filler looks like it's location might cause some problems for the pit crew.

I like the addition of Nissan to manufacturers that are involved., the car is a bit unique though. I am rooting for Marc Weber and Porsche to win. I believe the official feed is on lemans-tv.com. I suspect the gods of soccer and NA$CAR are the reason it isn't on FOX 1. I saw the Jay Leno piece. The kid is from the GT Academy which is connected with Gran Turismo. I am glad these games expose kids to Lemans and Nurburgring and help them realize their is more to motorsport and it's history than NA$CAR. The 24hrs of Lemans is this Saturday. Qualifying and practice are tomorrow and Thursday 1-3 pm EST and 4-6 pm EST both days. Does anybody have a good list of links to watch?

I know it won't be fun but the best thing is to get it apart then strip and repaint. Try Tamiya's TS-17 Gloss Aluminum straight from the can over their surface Primer. By the way I have an Iwata Revolution, It's a great spraying and quality airbrush you will not be disapointed. If you want the TS-17 a bit shinier try Testors Wet Look clear, Tamiya's TS13 clear is good but it is aliitle hot and tends to re-float some of the metallics in the TS 17 and cause problems.

Nothing beats Dymo brand label tapes for laying out lines to scribe.

Tamiya's Lacquer Thinner is great stuff, it has worked with every type of paint use.

Hobby Lobby sells the tips, they are pretty cheap with the 40% off coupon. thr tip being cracked can be caused by forcing the needle in to far when re-assembling. Push it in slowly till stops and look at the tip to see if it is seated then tighten the nut. Do not over tighten the new tip when screwing it in.

Put Future under the decal and it will stick forever.

Looking nice, I have built the racing version. They were a really nice looking wagon.

Most of the decals are done now. The Cartograf decals in these kits are some of the best decals I have ever used.

The base coat color does effect it. I usually put a base coat of Alclad White Aluminum down first. This is perfect for the gold on BBS style wheels.

These cars are not the same and there is so much going on you have to read up on the new rules. Yes, so they look like something other than the plastic they are made of. Also primer gives you a guide to what the cleanup and any work done to the part look like I am amazed how many times I found defects only after priming.
