  1. Pictures and story of the new Ford GT http://www.topgear.com/uk/ I like it!
  2. watch for the Stratos on a snow covered oval in Sweden. It used be the SSS(super special stage)for the Swedish Rally
  3. For anybody who's ever been interested in rallying this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjILuvJ6OQ4 this an awesome documentary of the history of the sport. It is about 90 minutes long.
  4. Future has ammonia in it. Acrlics can be stripped with ammonia. Future has been known to crack over Tamiya Acrylics.
  5. Great looking models. What blue did you use for the 6 wheeler? That is the Fujimi Watkins Glen version right?
  6. Does this kit give you a set of windows for the chopped top?
  7. This http://www.amazon.com/Paasche-TG-3F-Double-Gravity-Airbrush/dp/B002N0QA9A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420129927&sr=8-1&keywords=paasche+talon is one of the best buys in airbrushes. This set has 3 different tips and needles, a .25mm, a .38mm and a .66mm. The big cup is really nice. They now also have a .2mm tip and needle sold separately. If you want it in a really nice wwoden box check this link http://www.amazon.com/Paasche-Airbrush-Talon-Gravity-Deluxe/dp/B00JUPUIR6/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1420130260&sr=8-6&keywords=paasche+talon
  8. It's not a covertible but I had one and built along time ago. It was a really nice model.
  9. Then there was this, anybody know what movie?
  10. The Iwata Eclipse comes in both types. The CS model is a gravity feed with a .35mm tip, the BCS is a siphon feed with a .5mm tip. Hobby Lobby carries both. I think the BCS is about $20 cheaper. I don't think you will finder better prices or service for other airbrushes from chicagoairbrushsupply.com
  11. You can buy the Eclipse for about $120.00 at Hobby Lobby witha 40% off coupon. Check the prices for all airbrushes at chicagoairbrushsupply.com They have free shipping on most. They sell the Revolution TR models for $221. Sometimes the .35mm tip in the Eclipse seems a bit small when painting bigger stuff. Take a look at the Paasche Talon TG3F set that includes .25mm,.38mm and .66mm tips and needles. Definitely get a gravity feed over a siphon feed. Take a look at the Neo for Iwata trigger airbrushes TRN-1(.35mm tip) and TRN-2(.5 mm tip), I have both and love them, The Neo's are backed by Iwatas 5 year warranty. I have the Paasche Talon, Iwata Eclipse CS , Iwata Revolution CR(.5mm tip) and a Paasche Millenium. My favorite to use is the Neo for Iwata TRN-1. The triggers feel great in your hand.
  12. If you have the money buy the Iwata, it's far superior. The trigger style is awesome to use. I have the Neo for Iwata version, the TRN-2. It's about half the price of the Iwata. Proper thinning will give great results with the smaller .5mm tip. Checkout Chicago Airbrush Supply for some of the best prices around the net.
  13. This one will always be my favorite. My wife bought me one for our first Christmas.
  14. Hobby Lobby does sell some of them for about $8.00 before coupon.
  15. This is a brand new kit from Aoshima. It is afull detail kit and has amny parts or moere than Fujimi's Enthusast series. The doors open and close(not just posable) There metal strut rods for the doors and rear engine cover. They also include window masks. Every tree is individually bagged. Decals are by Cartograf. The parts and instruction can be seen here http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10289550
  16. I got this from mshobbies(great prices and service) This kit has as many or more parts then Fujimi's Enthusiast series. You can see the parts and instructions here http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10289550. The doors open and close not just pose one way or the other. It is a very nice model.
  17. Jason, I did cut the molded shut holes in the door panels. I also opened all the holes in the dashboard and the louvers on the hood.
  18. 91% Alcohol will strip all Tamiya Lacquers and is about the the safest thing to use.
  19. This is an old Gunze kit that was motorized. I am in the process of doing the decals. Paint is Duplicolor Cardinal Red. The back wheel covers painted with Alclad Pale Gold then I airbrushed Tamiya black acrylic over top. I the carefully wiped the acrylic off the molded detail with a paper soaked in ammonia. This kit represents the presentation version of the car. Aoshima has re-issued this kit with different decals. The rear quarter windows will have detailed fillers that cover the blobs on chassis.
  20. Do not soak metal airbrushes or parts in ammonia. It will eat the chrome and the brass over time.
  21. runs can fixed witha 50/50 mix of ammonia and clear. carefully wipe end re flow the area with a disposable cosmetic round. Future ia eh most re-workableand sfe finish going. It can be wiped instead of spraying which eliminates runs.
  22. This guy wasn't to happy with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9vYK_W-zSc Go to Don Wheelers site and scroll down to the review of this airbrush. https://sites.google.com/site/donsairbrushtips/
  23. Where have you gotten the right to tell anybody how to build or judge anybody's intentions when building. I wish the moderators would put an absolute end to these ridiculous questioning threads, or at least put them in a separate category.
  24. Nice job on the model. all the different liveries of this car were great looking.
  25. They are the same. The Mustang was a Zakspeed Capri with a Mustang body.
