Nick, let's see starting with the Bentley the chassis was cleaned up and painted and the gloss black areas(allot people miss that) of the body were masked and airbrushed. The Alfa was polished, the chassis was cleaned up(allot of work)and primed and the roll cage was primed and painted black(prep for Alclad). The 936 was primed and painted. Now what was it you got done lately. And then yesterday I heard a crunch under my chair which turned out to be the front splitter/base plate for the Bentley. It was in about 5 pieces that were carefully glued together and was reworked and is back in primer. And I worked on these two Two I am working on. Now get to work and finish that Audi.

A few I am working on. The Alfa is Duplicolor DSC351 Flash Red, the Porsche 936 is Krylon White and the Bentley is Duplicolor FM 195 Dark Jade.

They are pretty comparable. except some parts need more clean up. The only thing I don't like about the Focus is the drive shaft and exhaust are molded to the chassis.

The Peugeot is painted Duplicolor DSC 351 Flash Red. The white stripes are on the decal sheet but I will mask and airbrush the white. The Focus is Krylon White and the black is Plastikote airbrushed. Notice the brand name of the "evil" tobacco markings.

The Ferrari F1 team fired their entire pit crew yesterday. This announcement followed Ferrari's decision to take advantage of the British government's 'Work for the Dole' scheme and employ some Belfast youngsters. Was there allot of humidity? I have had Krylon primer do this when it was humid and probably sprayed it on too thick too fast.

You can use rubbing or denatured alcohol although their thinner is a little better for the gloss colors.

I have gotten good results by wiping it on with disposable cosmetic pads. It can be waxed for extra protection although the only wax I have found that does not take it off when rubbing is Zymol. BTW Roadhog that bug is so real I tried to squish it on my monitor, I can't look at it too long or it drives me crazy.
