  1. Nice build! Does anyone repop those wheels in resin?
  2. There is something to be said for shooting in sunlight, this was shot on my asphalt driveway, with the camera mounted on a desktop tripod.
  3. I posted this sometime back, hope it helps... http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=45767
  4. House of Hobbies (little bit of everything hobby related) (727) 447-3305 37700 US Hwy 19 N Palm Harbor, FL 34684 Interesting place... Not nearly as interesting as the original House of Hobbies that used to be an Alt.19 that the same guy owned.
  5. Beautiful build...
  6. The 1/25 full detail kit? I have the 1/24 curbside/slot kit, and those wheels have hubcaps molded on them.
  7. Nice work! Has anyone repopped those wheels in resin? They look perfect for my 904GTS
  8. I'm diggin' it... even if it ain't shiny!
  9. Nice build!! Nice background for the pics too...
  10. That is seriously cool!
  11. 40 pickup huh? Great - that's what's stalled on my bench right now :-)
  12. Didn't know there was a meeting today... Next time...
  13. Never been into slot cars, but that is impressive! Nice work!
  14. That is seriously cool!
  15. Nice to see these kits built! I did the same kit over ten years ago, kinda want to build another one.
  16. Nice! I have one of those buried in the pile along with the Porsche 904 and Ferrari 275p. Fun little kits!
  17. Very nice!
  18. I removed the bed floor and added in cross members so the planks will be visible from underneath.
  19. Pics are in the Under Glass section from last year or so.
  20. Thanks, but I finished the car some time back. Yours looks great!
  21. The tripod is your friend, along with the camera's self timer.
  22. I'll probably use Formula 560 Canopy glue.
  23. I haven't been building much lately, but this truck is back on the bench. To cut the basswood strips, I used a balsa/bass strip cutter from Master Airscrew, adjusted to width, and drawn along the grain of the wood. To cut across the grain, just an xacto with a #11 blade, a steel straight edge, and multiple passes to keep the edges clean. Jim, not sure if Rob carries bolts like this or not, I've never looked.
  24. Nice color and wheel choices!
