  1. rolling chassis , dryfit still a tad tacy paint wise
  2. started the chrome paint did the window frame with a handbrush , i should have kept it separate and spray painted it and mounted it afterwards not perfect but i'm happy with the outcome , that was a pretty steady hand paintjob ,, i was glad when i got the lines pretty decent
  3. after all the paint set backs , the body looked decent today . but since i handpainted it it was slightly wavy , well most people wont notoce but... so i wet sanded it and polished it with toothpaste , then got some decals on the body and clear coated the whole body i didnt want to strip the paint because of the fact its made in like 9 sections and got bondo on it the only thing that looks less now is the windowframe where it hits the body , due to the tickness of the paint its going to be hard to paint that chrome without destict lines to follow chassi clear coated and the opened radiator frame after a while baking above a radiator then did the steeelie centers in black and made the bolts chrome
  4. that came out soooooo good !!!!!!! the new project is as cool .. love this stuff
  5. well i can tell you it looks great , the shapes are awsome ... one thing i think it really needs is wider wheel wells in the back because the front ones are wider then the rear arches not a whole lot of parts in teh kit but it all looks great , perfect base for a unique build so if you see one you can safely buy it and the trucks you mentioned are the ones i still want to buy in the future i know what you mean
  6. bonjour > sava i dont know a lot of french so please dont reply in french lol welcome here and i'm sure you will find a lot of cool topics and idea's here on the forum
  7. well something went wrong masking the body and a flake of paint came of , in a effort to try and safe it i painted it and hand painted the body with a hand brush and red enamel paint ........... after painting it without any stripes in the paint i kind of baked it on a radiator in my house and yes its really done by hand with paint out of tiny enamel jar , i was really amazed with this result actually could not believe i got it this nice sure spraying is always nicer but .. look at the close ups i have to do the entire chassis due to colordifference ... or maybe paint the chassis in like a metal color , grey ????
  8. this guy from a dutch forum was sort ofquitting the hobby he will still build but not real fanaticly anymore) , last summer i already bought his airbrush set and some partsboxes now he said wel you want to buy most of my stuff , some he kept and will build himself he loves my work and wanted his stuff to go to somebody who uses it and he can follow the builds on forums .. so for like a supercheap price i got all of this >> the 2 revell 32 fords i already had , the pick up i got from his , awsome wheels on that 2 x chevy corvette , 1 x 57 chevy , 1 x 64 impala , not in the original boxes but 100% complete , suzuki alto works some jap cars (maybe nice for my son to start building yes he is showing interest at 8 years old) a jaguar and at the bottom a mercedes wich really has got rod shapes and i will use that for a custom build books magazines and also some more partsboxes and tools ..
  9. ooh going tp look great , cant waight to see the result
  10. going for a lived look , body and chassis will be gloss but i want the t to look used and lived did some gold on the inlet manifold weatherd it to give it some depth some chrome , the pipes will get some more paint effects later inside of the pipes painted black
  11. STUNNING STUFF !!!!!!! love the rear section
  12. its the first time i used red on a modelbuild lol
  13. they use special plates if i'm correct
  14. sweet @@ !!! great choice
  15. great job !!
  16. thnx i want to clear coat everything this weekend and then start the chrome and other colors .. i def need to do clear before the chrome because the chrome stuff i use will turn grey when cleared and it needs to stay chrome like.. going to do it just like i did on the real wood woody build , worked perfect .. on this one i left the engine loose because then its easyer to do the detail painting , but i really discovered this was of building and painting works nicer then painting everything and then assemble it still perfecting my method but atm it really works fine
  17. well love the paint and wheels , very fresh .. the omni camber .. hmm doesnt do it for me on a model a at first i thought it was just a rough dry fit well for me i would say some camber would be nice but this extreme ... but that said (was just my taste speaking) just do it , because we dont need to push people in boxes and well if we all did the same it would be boring .. just have fun i'd say
  18. promosing love these crazy builds !!
  19. thnx guys very rought dryfit and everuthing is painted in a base layer of red.. lots of parts will become chrome , some black , more detail will be added , so it will not stay this red overall just my recent paint technique lol
  20. awsome , love the boards where they in the kit ??
