  1. aright , thnx guys well i guess that the problem when you live in bloody holland and almost never can see those cars 4 real. i did see a real model t pick up ounce but that was in a shipping container so always good to get such info from you guys
  2. hey all , just started the john buttera kit from revell. it seems a bit small , alright its a model t but its in 1/25 ...and therefore i think its just a tad too small in scale the molding isnt great but also not bad .. the thing this kit really has going for it is the fact that there are a lot of parts and even the chassis needs assembling , i like kits with as much as possible parts to assemble. i wil build this one custom , not out of the box .. more in the t-bucket style but keep it a 4-seater the boxart the body had 4 doors molded in the body i didnt like those so i flattened the sides on the front there was a raised vent buldge , i also flatetned that then sanded the whole body flat dryfit of the interiour tub stock window frame easy chop just cut the top end tomorrow i want to start building teh chassis and see what set up will work best

  12. hi all this build was based on the dan fink's speed wagon , since i already build that kit ounce and got this one with a buy of several kits at ounce i decided to really go all out .. i did not start with a real set plan . the kit : not finished in this picture but i love the picture so ... after the clear coat on the wood was dry and the end pictures from today , i have not done any wiring yet , that will have to waight i dont have the correct wires .. some self made / added stuff : altered the stock headers and gave them bend pipes added carbs on the block and made a scoop out of an old truck light steering arm from the cabine the radiator brace completely build the wooden body from scratch (first time) i loved this so much i will def. make more real wood woodys in the future , i already have some cool plans for a full roof woody
  13. omg thats cool !!! i was just looking at those older cars and bubbletops today on ghoogle before i saw your thread BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH that stance is great love those wheels !!!
  14. imo it would be a shame if some rare kits would never see daylight as build models , like people said they where made to be build and when a rare kit is build its still a rare model right i would build any rare kit ... only if it would be worth serious silly money i would consider not to .. but that would have to be so much money its impossibloe for a kit to become so valuable ...lol
  15. clean clean clean , lovely build !!
