hey , no thats just a spray can silver , its well known in the modelbuilding scene in holland and a lot of people use it , its cheap , flows awsome and never runs , always a 100% great result . alcad is maybe nicer but this is just so handy the brand is gamma , thats a big diy store with stores all over the country (well you would not call holland a country lol) the blue on the body and the clear is also from gamma .. all the paints just spray amazingly good and the best thing is my wife works there so i always get 20% off (discount) hey thanx for the information , i had those from a nother revel deuce kit , the bunny is not complete there should be more but i cut it to put it there i will look it up thnx today i installed the pedals (automatic) and steering colom , they will be painted chrome maybe i will make a center console with electronic gear selector later (?) bunny power i used higher rocker covers with deuce casted in them.. the edges are red because i had to smooth them and they come from a red casted kit. i will paint those edges with my chrome and leave the rest of the covers kit chrome daylight shot of the metallic blue radiator case i put some cloth electrical tape on the aircleaner .. looks just like ... not sure if i will use it , not sure what i want with the engine , maybe some stacks would be cool -

no thats all still left to do , first i wanted everything painted and sure everything fits and is in place , i will complete everything like the engine and details , then keep the body loose and then make the wood on that , i will just need to messure and build up the wooden body piece by piece .. its not like i have done it before , but now i'm glad i went about it this way , if i would have made the wood on the first it would be a lot of masking work . also making whole pre made panels to put on isnt really doable , i made everything curved so i really have to glue on and fix it piece by piece so it really is fluch against the inner body (so to speak) after dinner started to paint all the chrome , steady hand required on all pics it seems to have two tones , like discoloration , thats actually due to the lights hitting it from the ceiling , irl its just all the same blue did several front parts chrome loosly dryfitted the wheels , tyres are from the kit and the rims i used from a 32 roadster kit , i really think they match the style and theme well tyres stil need work like sanding and stuff , rims also will get some details painted all the small dash details , hmmm those where tiny , i used a wooden pin with a point (meat pin) to do those loose dryfit with the body i'm thinking of doing some white on the seats i will do a lot of small details later and off course the woody body -

yep i'm married but .. that shower room is still old like when we bought the house and it wil be relocated so its not really ... i do spray in cartbox boxes and make sure nothing gets on the tiles but when it would its not that big of a deal and easy to clean of tiles.. off course when i build a fancy bathroom i wont be spraying in there lol today the clear coat was dry and man it turned out great , really smooth as glass no dust in it and no orange peel in both the blue or the clear the chassis some shots with artificial light , the gloss shows better that way dont mind the hole the body covers that close up good to see the decal under the clear in this pic a lousy pic but the radiator shell is done in metallic blue and some engine parts will get that same color , dressed up with a bunch of chrome loose test fit of the grille -

painted the steering wheels blue metallic (2k paint) to resemble the metalflake ones you can buy also did the grille shell that color , some engine parts will get that blue as well -
re also matt grey ones that are not suited and only give a extreme matt grey (rel dark grey) look i believe motip is well known in the world this looks like the metallic greay version

wel alright some pics of the base coat most parts will be chrome and some other accents will be added already did the oil filter and distributer gloss red so it kind of pops and makes a nice accent washed the grille with dark paint , usually i repaint the kit chrome, on this one i kept the kit chrome and just washed the grille with paint i painted this with a spraycan indoors (in the shower in a cartboard box) lol , this summer i will start with airbrushing interiour will get darker blue accents , chrome dials with white plates and more chrome details on the steering colom etc the underside will also be dressen in chrome all the parts like struts drive shaft etc will be chrome just for looks , the dark wood will become less red in the end by sanding it all the wood will be sanded smooth and get some clear coat on it , i'm thinking a matter clear as the body wich will be high gloss
