  1. slow progres is not a bad thing if the result is like this looking great !
  2. nice ! looks great from here and if its any consolation just look at real musscle cars , most are far from perfect irl so ....:)
  3. oooh that looks soo good ! what is the plan for the grille and headlights ? a wash in the grille ? and headlight wise ? some cristal clear over the molded lenses or drill them out and put real housings and lenses in there ? asking because the rest looks so good that def. needs an upgrade
  4. hmmm that looks great !!
  5. dont know ?? i never thought about sealing my weathering , for me the best awnser is > you dont
  6. cool ! and interesting technique with the sheetrock / drywall or how we call it gipsplaten
  7. i dont have to touch it anymore ?! its all glued down and all stuff is attached .. so no need to handle it .. i can hold the whole dio upside down and nothing falls off ... and on my ford ratrods it might be that if you pick them up very often it could wear a tiny bit .. then you just toutch it up .. trust me flat clear over pigments and other stuff kills that really dull and rusty look and feel ..
  8. thnx jesse and no , no flat clear .. its all glued down everything you see is fixed to the dio ..weathering will stay fine i have some 32 fords i did , my garage dio , my gasstation dio and all of those still look great .. putting flat clear over pigments and even acrylics kills the look ... added a no smoking sign on the big pile
  9. mobiloil sign added
  10. put a mobiloil logo on the drum and made a mopar sign on bras plate
  11. made a oil drum from superthin copperplate , bend ridges in ther before rolling it round bras wire for the hoops base coat of stirdy army paint added tuff , painted some stuff slightly different and dry brushed the whole dio with light pigment powder to create a more matte and duty effect and make it look like its been there a long time some sun pic shade pics
  12. stunning work !!! better then factory fresh
  13. aaahh getting there ! primer will make this look purdyyyyyy
  14. looks great !!
  15. i have to say you have a great eye for creating shapes ..the shapes look spot on ! , roof might need work but the shapes are there ! very cool , idea > to make the moldings around the windows you could use round wire and after they are on .. sand them in shape .. i made the window moldings on my 1/25 revell charger from brass , bend them and glued them on with superglue .. then filed the shape in them and as for wheels you can look for some 1/18 wheels online there are nice rims/tyres out there .. or get hold of a old 1/18 model and use the wheels? your windows ..rear window is easy its pretty flat you could use clear material from anywhere , food containers .. bet would be to get hold of some thicker lexan ... but that front window is harder .. it curved ...i could be poible to make a mold from styrene or wood and then put on some clear material and by heating it (oven?) make it ink over the mold ...
  16. some outdoor shot , colors are more alive and it shows better how it looks irl also added a v8 ford pick up grille and a ford fender
  17. thnx bob ! i did a lot of stuff not real obviou all small ads with plant material and dirt then started on the first object with a contrasting color , really pops ! and some super close ups of all the work on the engine and interiour
