yes making sure it all fits and is level is a must i would look at the panellines on the charger .. i did one without cribing them deeper and one where i did scribe them .. looks way better with deeper panellines .. just look at your body they are not that deep and after paint .....

sorry this is only available in holland . i got a lot of questions about this .. now and in the past ... its a rattle can from a local diy market in holland ... (do it yourself market) ... its their own brand can says gamma and only available in holland .. if its made in different brand name i would not now ! i have tried to figure that out .cant find it .. lots of modelers in holland use this gamma spray can to make stuff look chrome here are the can , the left one was the old style can and on the right a new verion they jus changed that last year ... so the one on the right is the one they sell now sad it cant be bought elswhere , on a smooth surface you can not spray wrong , it super thin and watery .. always sprays in a mirror finish ... also if you spray it in a bowl it can be aplyed with a hand brush an you can let it flow on parts again with a mirror finish . for tiny parts like bolts and dash knobs etc i use a wood stick with a point ad put it in the chrome and then toutch the parts to aply chrome look ..

the stuff i showed , same story , clear coat dulls it .. it takes a long time drying before you can handle it with pressure .. then dont toutch to often or it dulls .. but i mean who knows how kit chrome is done in the factory ?? what process they use ...it has to be possible to get the ssame chrome look like kit chrome ???

aww thnx joe ! , with stuff like this it always takes a while to get where you want to be .. take several layers and adds to get it towards a more realistic look , every thing you add brings it to life more .. i really like the outcome .. if i could do it over i would not have choosen the orange for weathered paint .. it gos to much towards the rust colors , a green or blue or ....? would have been more dramatic i think .... on the other hand it doe have a certain look i dig .. but that said i have a nother musscle car body with oly a few parts of the kit .. so i could do a nother one in the future ... maybe do that one more as a it till drives but needs a complete restoration ... i'm not calling the charger done i want to add some small stuff .. jusst set it aside untill a idea comes to mind

i saw a can of this from a nother brand here in holland also has the real chrome look on the can .. i have to be hounest ..i wanted to try that .. still didnt buy it though .. but i was very oooohhh like whe i saw the pic of the can you posted .. really curious on how this looks... tbh i expected it to look like the cap of the can > real chrome and more like the kit chrome ?? what i see on your picture looks good but it not that CHROME finish i hoped to see , its about the same i get with a certain silver metallic can i now use from a local diy brand in holland ... here are some examples of what i use now > rattle can similair to the alcad look engine parts center of the steering wheel rollcage i build looks like chrome ... untill you see kitchrome next to it .. then it uddenly looks more silver ... so that why i hoped it would look like the kit chrome ...

thnx loyd !! i dont know if you could poly those leafs ... i now glue them on with superglue .. i had some on the dodge van as well and they till look great ........i think ounce the leafs have fallen off and are brown / yellow .. they stay like that .. ..in the summer they are bright green .. i an see the bonsai outside while i'm typing this already has a load of new fresh leafs atm .. ready to harvest next fall / winter

added more leaf today , i think the amount is pretty good atm .. should not be more ..
