  1. pffftt out of this world !!! just a joy to watch
  2. i love this !! , just because they would never do this to a original body / car due to the value .. maybe like a replica .. so what you are doing is just cool .. likehow it could look if somebody was crazy enough !! in fact a Aston Martin db4 custom exists its a http://www.v12-gt.com/var/v12gt/storage/images/galerie/galeries-photos/galeries-classic/aston-martin/aston-martin-db4-zagato-3-4-arriere-gauche/28923-1-fre-FR/Aston-Martin-DB4-Zagato-3-4-arriere-gauche_zoom.jpg and zagato made some versions but you just cant find like a mordernized / restomod like db4 so this is quite unique
  3. ooh yes this is tasty stuff ... i made one salt racer myself and i so want to make some more ... loving your set up !! looks soo good
  4. oooh yeah , thats a cool build !!! awsome
  5. cool !!
  6. inbetween x-mass stuff i made a new table for the office , real wooden top , kept it non perfect inlay wise to keep the old feel 2 wielstands gemaakt met banden en velgen als display voor de verkoop ... took a ford pick up-bench and sprayed it matt beige with a brown wash and painted the buttons chrome .. i will make a panel for the tunnel hole ...
  7. thnx !! and well i want to add a lot of small details , like make it look alive . -partswasher -take out the office bench and make a custom corner sofa with real cussions -print wrenches on thick paper and spray them chrome , still struggeling with cutting them out .. -make screwdrivers and all sorts of small tools -make some larger tools -axle stands -jack -extension cord (rollable) -electric drill (battery operated) and more stuff like that it needs to be full of detail without it looking to stuffed full .. and smalls really add to the whole atmosphere and feel
  8. i didnt do much , bit tired .. but last night i made a first aid kit and put it on the side of the bench cabinet put the oil catch cart that was on the space where the sink is now on the corner of the office .. looked best there . like they parked it there for now
  9. thnx guys ... but uuuhh i didnt do anything yesterday .. i came home from work and i was soo tired ..ppfft just layed on the sofa with the tv on
  10. aww thnx bob !!! made a automatic towel roll dispenser thingy today .. like when you dryed your hands and pulled out a clean part of the roll it rolls itself up the base tork logo and under that you see a piece of styrene with 3 layers of medical cloth on it cut to size that will be the actual towel size idea on the wall here you can really see the towel pics are very close up irl i think it looks better
  11. thnx zac .. the signs > 1.find the sign you want and save it 2.open in photoshop and resize it to the correct size ..maybe alter stuff if you know your way around photoshop. 3.use matte photopaper in your printer. 4.print it from the photoshop program into your printer (if you save it in the correct size it always prints wrong if you print it directly from your pc folders) 5.i recently start using clear tape .. the stuff you use in and around your house ..i bought a wider roll .. so just house tape that is see through. so when you have your print you dont cut it out but put clear tape over the printed sign .. on the front and on the back .... this seals and protect the print from any glue and makes sure the print stays sharp after gluing.. and it gives it a shiny surface that resembles the smoothness and shine a sign has got ... 6.then cut the sign out and you have a sign , take a marker and with a steady hand go along the side of the paper , that is still white and making that black with a marker (side of the paper) ..gives it extra realism and makes it not look like a printed piece of paper 7. now and this i did on all my signs i took thin copperplate and glued my signs on the copper plate .. after drying cut out the copper around the sign and maybe make the sides black with a marker again so you dont see the copper plate ... now you can also use thin aluminium or maybe thicker stuff from packaging ..or even cut out metal from a old coke can or something similair this now alows you, when the glue is dry to slightly bend the sign and give it a curve .. on some i made a real curve and others like the ones loose on the cabinet i kept more straight .. but all got bend a bit .. you can also use some paint like oil or enamel paint to paint a it of extra rust color along the edges or like i did on the ford sign .. put a drup of clear glue on the sign , spread it even and here and there add some rust pigment .. here a nother pic of the sink in better daylight , i added 3 decals (waterslide) on the edge and sink , the decal on the sink i made less perfect on purpose
  12. added a mop .. like the flat one where you put a flat thingy under .... here how it looks with a bit more distance (vieuwing distance is even further)
  13. thnx jim the sink is in , painted to look like a old zinc sink ... not sure tbh .. should i keep it or make something new ?? in real life it looks better then on picture but its pretty beat up and weathered .. i added a shelf with a bar of soap , soap pump and sponge .. then a bucket with sponge and a cloth in the sink .. if i keep this set up i will add a wall soap dispenser and a towelroll device thingy opinions are welcome
  14. started on a big wash sink for washing hands .. used copper plate and cut a shape and folded it from one piece .. folded the edges .. kept it a bit rough looking ... started on a sifon ? to keep the smell away (the bend in the piping) the sifon .. painted the sink in metal coat i will add some washes .. already made room next to the bench cabinet ...
  15. haha thnx .. and then i think i woulkd need a magnifing glass
  16. thnx wayne !! just made a rattle can .. man thats is some fidely stuff ... smalllllll got a platic rod from a lolypop .. a unidentified plastic thingy , a steel pin as nozzle ... rough start sprayed it chrome with my 1:1 rattle can chrome lol and due to the size printing wasnt really a option , so i dove into my scrap decal box and used this for a brand label , really stands out and is sharp finished it off with black between the can and nozzle and glued it in the dio bi was real happy with the result , for me i think a rattle can is one of those hardest to make things .. in the end it was easy and i made it in no time but still its supersmall and you have to have the right creative moment lol
  17. thnx guys much apriciated !!! and hmm weird how could the pics disapeir ? i have to look into that i found a calender online and opened it into photoshop , changed it a bit and with a brush tool and zoomed in written like tasks and project stuff in the squares of diffrent days .. in fact with a magnifing glass you could read it lol here the splashplate with real alu shavings and grinddust is better visible als on the mill you see a oil can / tin i just made today the tin can ... now i took some styrene rod from sprue out of a kit (bigger diameter) drilled it open and made it look like a real can edge by scraping a larger drill bil against it after drilling the first hole .. then made a label in photoshop , some metalcoat on top and black inside total vieuw of that corner
