finished the floorjack and in the end put the jack in this spot , looked best , to put it so i can put cars on it for pictures would mean it would sit in the middle of the floor , looked weird .. 2 random pics > -

so much difefrent style floorjacks .. the general version has got those tiny coaster wheels in the back .. if i would make those scale wise they would be soo tiny and because my idea was to make it so it can take the weight of all my models without collapsing .. i made bigger rear wheels .. thet are not fixed wheels on the back there is a shaft where the wheel is on and that sits under the mount plate .. so in theory thats where they would swivvel .. added a side bracket and sprayed primer .. i already shot color on it 10 minutes ago .. but that will come later its dry time now and it does take the weight of all my models here is a shot with the surf woody ... the plan is to put it in the dio in such a way i can always put a car resting on the jack , so for future modelcars i have a cool picture spot dimensions are good i think (?) -

thnx and well at this point i only add stuff that really contributes .. but you will actually be amazed how much you can still add to this without making it too much .. especially the real small items ... every tiny detail from now will create more atmosphere , still have a lot of emlty shelfs and .... -
nice i love the fact the scale is tiny

haha you are number .....xxxxx that thinks its a hairgrip .. no its way way smaller and its tin metal ... these are small grips that originaly had small weights hanging on them.. so when you ar outside in the summer and have a table cloth on the table you clamp those on the corners so a breeze of wind wont blow the cloth off the table ... the sign is up .. looks great with the small tin signs on the cubbord ... i'm in doubt if i leave it like this or give the shell on top a mild wash for soem depth i knoced the compressor of the floor when gluing the sign on the wall .. and actually .. that looked better .. so i put the compressor next to the hoist overall shot of the garage -

well i went and made red stripes on the shell ... it didnt look horible but to get them all the same and the deep ridges where not all the same ... so i got all paint and primer off and reprimed it and painted it yellow again .. on google i found shell sign like this just plain yellow no tripes and red shell letters , the letters wont work to small and the ridges wont ....and i dont have decal paper so ... but i got a cool idea and started to make a new bottom sign > SOUND YOUR HORN FOR SERVICE .. not actually ment like they need to sound the horn but more like a old gasstation sign they put on the wall in the garage as a piece of art with a small wooden stick i applied the same yellow enamel paint on the edge of the bottom sign .. -

yes i saw it jamie .. nice and all the stuff you can find for free .. that is what makes it fun for me making something out of ..anything i made and printed a mooneyes box , just as a test for size .. for when i want to make a bunch of partsboxes .. kept this one even though it was tiny and put it on the bench this morning i was looking for something and found these clips in a drawr ... and was like whooww i can make a real 3-s shell logo from these took it apart and sawed off the bottom buldge made a sign plate from plastics primered it and painted it yellow with some enamel paint and stuck a self made shell logo on it the deeper lines in the shell are not running as low as the real shell logo but its so close i think thats not a big deal .. when the paint is really dry i want to paint the lines in the shell (deeper parts) red like the real one -
yes cool !!!
