  1. Just finished this one over the weekend. It’s Atlantis’ 1:400 scale Boeing SST 2707 model kit. Done in the Pan Am decals included with kit. Representing the fictional/proposed plane “Astral Clipper,” N2001PA. I like that this kit is 1:400 scale. I have several die-cast airplanes in that scale. Including the Dragon Wings Pan Am Concorde seen for comparison in the one photo below. I also have the 1:200 scale two plane Revell, Pan Am/Boeing SST kit sitting on the shelf waiting to be built. Dreams from my childhood I wish would have been taken.
  2. Very nice. I’ve got to build mine someday. I hope it turns out as nice as yours.
  3. I was at a Slot Car swap meet, a week ago Saturday (Oct. 21, 2023). And I picked this up.
  4. I really wish Round 2 would reissue this kit. They were talking about reissuing it about 10 years ago. I wonder what happened.
  5. A “stock” version of this car is something I’m interested in. The Ghostbusters and Surf versions never caught my eye.
  6. Wow! Very nice job.
  7. I could never figure out to build the “Switcher” kits so that the left over parts could be switched to do other variations later. The kits just would not stay together without gluing the “switcher” parts together. Beyond that, I kind of liked the two or three Switcher kits I’ve built in the past.
  8. I love it. Those big Chevys from that era looked great.
  9. A fun kit. I too built one a couple of years ago.
  10. When the ‘65 was brought up at the MCCM meeting last night, none of us were sure of origins of the kit. A “Craftsman Plus” ‘65 GTO? And now you guys mention a ‘68 too? What is the origins and history of these two kits? What is a “Craftsman Plus” kit? How is it different from a regular AMT kit, or a traditional AMT “Craftsman” kit? I’m interested in knowing more. And two cars I will more than likely add to my collection when they out.
  11. As of yesterday, I too got my replacement parts for my F-350 Ramptruck. The replacement parts look fine. I’m happy. Now to build it.
  12. I had the same problem. Thanks for the compliment.
  13. Thank you Dave.
  14. Thank you. And no, I did nothing to the finish the body. The plastic straight out of the box is that shiny.
  15. Sweet. Very, very nice.
