  1. Curtis, where is the Porsche 911 kit above from. Who makes it? And what scale? There are very few Porsche 911 model kit with the pre 1974 small bumper set up. Scott
  2. That is not a 1960 Ford Courier. The 1960 Courier was based on the fullsize Ford Ranch Wagon. In fact the '59 and '60 Courier had glass rather than solid side panels. They were basically a 2-door Ranch Wagons with a single seat for the driver only. For '61 they switch the sedan delivery down to the Falcon line. They also went back to solid side panels. The Courier name did not go with the switch. That being said, I do like your model. It's very nice. The Ranchero looks great too (which did switch to the Falcon line for '60). Your "Courier" is actually a phantom '60 Falcon sedan delivery. Which is cool with me. Scott
  3. Here we go with the complaints. It's maybe not 100% correct. But, it looks darn good to me. True the grille doesn't look correct when the details are pointed out. But, before you guys said anything, I didn't notice it. So, it is basically right. Scott
  4. Very nice. Both of them. I'm not too keen on the wheels. But, that's me. Scott
  5. Very cool! Interesting concept. I love the detailed work you did on this. Scott
  6. I like it! I want one! Very cool. Scott P.S. I hope someone makes a 1/25th scale model kit of it, for those of us who can not afford the real thing.
  7. Very nice. I wonder when Revell will get around to reissuing this one? Scott
  8. Cool. SS-396! I can't wait to get my hands on this one. Scott
  9. I love it Felix. A six and dog dishes. I like Super Sports, but most people I knew drove cars like this. And that's okay. It brings back fond memories. I once owned a plain light yellow '74 Buick Apollo with a six (Chevy 250) and dog dishes. Scott
  10. Another great story involving two of my favorite automotive things. One is Jay Leno. One of the all time great car guys. And a great guy all around. Second is a Buick. Next to Cord, my favorite brand of automobile. And the '57 Cabellero was and is one of the all time cool wagons. And it's great to see people donating their time (in the case of President Bush and Jay Leno) and money (the bidders) to a worthy cause. A nice story at a time when we need more nice stories like this. Scott
  11. Your right about the Tow'd. The box art indicates a Corvair engine. Scott
  12. Putting down others and their likes does not make me feel better. Scott
  13. By the way, I saw your other build of the Whirlybirds from an even earlier posting. Not to put the other build down, but this one looks a lot better. I hope some day when you attend another MCCM meeting, you'll bring along this model so I can see it in real life. Scott
  14. By the way, I like the Play-dough idea. I may copy that one. Scott
  15. Very nice birds. Something about helicopters from that time period that look right to me. Scott
  16. Another nice one Lee. Even though I like the Enterprise from the Abram's movies, the original is still the best. Scott
  17. Very nice! I still love the looks of the original Enterprise. And you did a great job on this one. I especially like the first picture by way. Leaving Mars. Very cool! Scott
  18. I love Whirlybirds. Watched it as a kid. And I too in the last year picked up a DVD with several episodes. It still holds up. I wasn't disappointed. And as far as your model goes Lee, very nice job. Scott
  19. Here's another one. Again very cool! I don't know why I like these so much. Can't wait to get mine done. Scott
  20. Wow! Looks great Sven. Your box art design will be another good reason to buy this kit. Scott
  21. I wonder why John is looking at reviews on Camaros if he's not planning on buying one? Just writing to vent your dislike of Chevys John? Kind of a jerky thing to do. I wonder what cars you like that I don't (though I tend to like most everything), so I can go on those reviews and tell you something similar. It's fine that you have no interest in Camaros. Not everybody likes the same thing. Scott
