  1. Wow amazing progress so far. Love how your making the body dead on accurate as well. Cheers,
  2. Base coat looks awesome!! What did you use?
  3. Looks nice I have one of the old monogram kits. It's painted just not finished I got bored of it :/
  4. Thanks LongRoofNut. "Creative name" lol how did you pick it?
  5. That's really neat i didn't know they use that method. I've always wanted to do a ship. But this is the first time I've tried it and it looks likes it's been effective to me as well. Uhm it could work I just mounted the wheels today and finished up some chassis paint (pics tomorrow guys). So I will c how they fit now, if they still rub I'll show a pic so u can know what it looks like for your future kit. I'm not too worried about it barely touches. Cheers, Thanks
  6. Thanks Wonderbread Kustomz
  7. Thanks bud Ill finish those up soon.
  8. thanks man they should stand out a bit more, once I apply the semi black to the rotors and such.
  9. Thanks Dave
  10. Thanks bud, I'm really proud about this. I'm really good at tuners, but muscle cars have always been my weakness and I feel good about this model!!
  11. Chassis is basically done just gotta add the rear shocks. And then paint the inside of the wheels and apply them. I've noticed with the rear wheels all the way pressed In, the tire slightly touches the body wheel well. The rims I was going to use, won't fit without a lot of modifications. So I stole some rims from my charger kit, what u guys think? It may be hard to see with just one. The engine is not mounted yet, I just wanted to see the mock up. All I have now is the interior, and then some engine work, and of course the finish up of the body (bare metal foil, grill, front and rear bumpers, head and tail lights. Decals and door handles)
  12. You said you still have one in your stash? I'm looking for one
  13. Very detailed body work. It inspires me
  14. This is looking great!! Two of my favorite movie/tv show cars. I'd build a general lee but I need the body :/ Cheers man, can't wait for more!
  15. Thanks you. I'm glad myself.
  16. Thanks Slusher, tomorrow starts the chassis and interior, brake lines and such
  17. Yea I just seen somebody's copo camaro on the forum. I have to say I'm digging the orange. That Nova looks amazing man. Thanks for showing me Cheers, I'd like to thank everybody for the 1018 views so far . Thank you again and happy modeling.
  18. Washed and primed the rest of the parts. Chassis and engine bay washed, primed, and spray painted black with just a normal acrylic lacquer. Stripping the chrome off the donor rims Here's the rims now. Still have to pick out the slots but, yea
  19. Thanks bro. I could of went blue to fix the mis haps in the paint. But I wanted this one green haha
  20. Nice start always love to c a challenger. I have all spare parts of a 2 in 1 kit just no body, cuz I screwed it up trying to make the doors open
  21. Here's after being polished with the novus 2 I tried sanding some of the blob like I said but it wasn't coming out without removing paint. And I dont feel like waiting to get more green lol So here's what she looks like now. Got the engine in for pics and I think the chassis will be black
  22. I agree man and thanks for the compliment on the color. As for the problems in the paint I'm just gonna go with it. It's one of those classic muscle car that the owner is gonna have to have some touch ups on the body lol. Btw I edited the other post Cheers.
  23. They were blobs of paint but they started showing up after I sprayed. Probably from the wind.
  24. This is just incredible, I've been wanting to do the models like this my self. But just don't know everything about the engine like that. Your definitely an inspiration for sure bro!
  25. Now we just need an awesome focused pic, of that engine bay
