  2. very nice looking charger, nice paint work, and good detail in the grill and bumper pieces.
  3. Thanks mate,
  4. Thanks man for the tip and a well good explanation of it. I have a new i'm gonna try for both. But I will definitely use this tip at some point!! Cheers, Byron
  5. Yea I wanted the rally's but I think I'm gonna save them for another project as I'm not the best and modding things. Lol As with the paint I let it dry completely, and the primer used is a laquer. But Tamiya's are synthetic lacquer it's like they have different properties in away. I could have not used primer but I haven't done that in awhile. Glad you like that tip. The front window fell off so I'll have to re apply it after I paint the inside of the body interior. Btw great weathering on that, it looks amazing! Stay Frosty, Byron
  6. White would look good thanks man! Yea that's where I'm at now I'm debating on the color
  7. Very interesting and thats the pain of panel lines haha different lighting/ angles.
  8. These don't appear to be from the AMT/Ertl Eckler Corvette #8053 kit. Because those rims actually have the holes in the rims juts like the real ones. Thats why there the most accurate Vector rims IMO, unless some one has made some resin ones.
  9. Body is looking epic man. Great paint work. Nice BMF work also. Although nothing personal just a tip, but I would have black washed the panel lines prior to painting, because they almost look too apparent now just MHO. But like I said nothing personal!! They do look good!!! Chassis is looking nice as well, and great attention to detail.
  10. Thank You! Alright guys what colors of interior would look good for this besides black?
  11. Cool thanks man!! Come to think of it I'm remember the name of this. But looking at yours I thought it was something different, u did a nice job on it and the car.
  12. All I can say is SIIIICCCKKK.... I'm literally lost in words for the paint job and engine details thus far. How much was the kit?
  13. Great looking cars man, thats definitely inspires me for my general lee coming up. And I hate that whole racist debate. Yea thats the souths flag, but we all stand as one now. And that flag stand for nothing now but a memory. I plan to do a bandit trans am soon, or maybe a replica of my dads old trans am

  17. My home towns shop has a lot of good stuff at cheap prices. Besides Tamiya there prices are solid. Good shipping prices too although I just go to the store haha Phills hobby shop is the name of the store and website. Its from fort wayne, indiana
  18. this should be cool!
  19. I use tamiya x20 a But normal mineral spirits would be your best/cheapest option.
  20. Great start as well
  21. I could have, but I will be hand painting it. So no biggy, I can mask the window tabs and paint those black as well. Along with the foil parts. Thanks for the tip/comment. Cheers,
  22. Thank you Carl I took my time doing the BMF. And I think it payed off
  23. Windows are In! BMF is all completed. All body decals applied. This is how I apply them. 1. Dip in water for a few seconds. 2. Brush on water on area for decal to be applied. 3. Position decal into place using a q tip and decal tweezers. 4. Lightly press decal in place with q tip getting excess water off. 5. Apply Mr. Mark softer and repeat step 4 but getting excess softer off 6. Apply Mr. Mark softer and don't touch till it's dry. This allows silvering to be gone and the decal looks like it's been painted on. For the windows I use white Elmer's glue. (The ones that dry clear) and position window in place. Then using tamiya masking tape to hold it in place while the glue dries. I use this glue because if there is a mishap that gets on the window you can clean it with water. Tamiya tape is great at stoping bleeds, but it doesn't tack to hard as well as to vehicle. Meaning when you remove it doesn't really have the power to lift the window up, or remove paint. Here's some pics.
  24. That is an amazingly clean build.
  25. Looks amazing dude!
