  10. Correct on all counts, Chuck. It definitely did vary by year, during the '46-'64 Windsor production and '65-'68 Oakville/ San Jose builds; with the final few years combined with the Ford numbers so possibly only the Marti records would have that info. Anyways, I digress... Thanks again, Dave, for sticking with this project through it all mike

  13. Whoever told you that must have lived in a city From the production figures I've seen out of Oakville, the mercs accounted for as much as forty percent of production some years. Even today when I'm scouting the back roads and farms about the same percentage of the old Fords I come across are wearing the winged helmet. Gary, did you check out the link on post 136? mike
  14. ...and when you find something close to what you're looking for, even if it's too expensive, add it to your 'watch' list. Then go to your watch list, click on the 'more actions' tab under the 'buy it now' button and click on 'view similar'. This shows everything listed in the same category, quite often with an eye-popping variety of prices for the same item. mike
  15. You'll find the '69 grill in scale to be identical to the '68, Kerry. The only difference in the 1:1, as you probably know, is a fine line stamped into the main horizontal cross bar on the '69; oh, and the 'coon eyes', black trimmed headlite doors on the '69 Ranger Otherwise, there are no physical exterior differences between the two. mike
  16. Good reference for mercs here: http://www.fordification.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=35331 mike

  20. another great library here: http://www.fordification.com/library/main.php mike
  21. The dash was pretty much the same from '81 to '93 and there was another grill change about '85/'86.(Darrin's style) I remember doing a few Royal SE pdi's... mike
  22. Todd, where did you see the decals? mike
  23. The regular narrow chrome is molded to the body and is fairly easy to foil. mike
