Clean and classic. Very nice work.
  2. Now that's freagin' sweet.
  3. Truly remarkable build. I really admire you guys that build Nascar.
  4. Here's a couple older builds from when I got back in to it the hobby three years ago. 64 Chevy. Third build, box-stock and my second attempt at wiring an engine. An all-time favorite kit for me (built it as a kid) and an all-time favorite factory stock truck. 454SS Chevy
  5. I like the color scheme and, IMHO, the Skyline wheels tie the package together. Great total package.
  6. Wow! Do I dig that!
  7. Aoshima and Tamiya are imported kits, so the cost to ship is factored in I'm sure. Clean molds with (in my experience so far) little to no mold lines. The parts fit is fantastic as well. There are great Revell and AMT kits, don't get me wrong, but I've yet to come across one that goes together with the ease that Aoshima or Tamiya offer. The one downfall to Tamiya and Aoshima kits are they are mostly curbside kits and not full detail with engines.
  8. I bring different builds every time a show is at a particular venue and show only once regardless if it places or not.
  9. 10 years ago, I lost ALL of my art (automotive and otherwise) in a flood that hit the city here. Anywho, I haven't drawn anything since. This is a sketch I whipped up tonight in a couple hours for a forum member over at Diecastlive. He wanted something with skulls, and flames, and he's kind of in to the whole Jimmy Shine thing. I added the smoke and flames to make it appear as though the back end is whipping around and into the exhaust flames. Anyway, enough blabbering, here's my first car art effort in years....
  10. I was toying with it, now I have to get one of these kits. Great, clean, build. The chassis/underbody detail is fantastic.

WOW. I could look at that for days and still not see all the detail. Great build.
  12. Picked up a Revell Germany Porsche 944 Turbo that I'm starting soon, and ordered up a Tamiya Nissan 350Z from the LHS tonight. The owner was kind enough to give me a deal.

    Nissan 350Z

Great, clean build. Simple and elegant. There's a REALLY sharp 1:1 in town here that I'm going to copy. I ordered the kit tonight from my LHS.
  14. Thanks for the heads up, but my band's gigging this weekend.
  15. Super build. I know a couple people that've been wanting to see real pics of the kit.
  16. Cool factor to the 9's! Well executed.
  17. Anybody know of any shows coming up in ND or within driving distance? The hobby shop here does its annual thing, but was wondering if anyone's aware of other upcoming events somewhat local. Thanks!
  18. This was a nice box-stock build to get back to basics essentially and work on getting a better finish. Another dream car in the garage. I still need to work on my photography skills. Thank you for looking.
  19. I don't mind seeing Merc's everywhere. It means that Revell's done something NEW and EXCITING with the hobby to bring some life to it. Great color and it looks tough as nails.
  20. An airbrush and the ol' trusty paint brush for detailing.
  21. My LHS doesn't have a regular selection and they're more concerned about their R/C business than kit sales. I'm more on top of what's coming out for new kits and when I mention something they give me "the look" So, 80% of my kits have come from internet sources, 20% has come from the LHS, Walmart, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc.
  22. WOW!!!! Superb workmanship. If I had lots of money to spare, I'd be trying to buy it off you just to look at!
  23. Great issue this month guys. I especially appreciate the photography how=to!
  24. Usually 5-7 hours if I'm lucky. The last couple weeks, it's been zero.
