  12. Nice build. Regarding the "box stock" class and sparkplug wiring- I wonder if one could stretch some sprue and make plug wires?
  13. Those are LP500 wheels, The LP400 has no wheel arches, no chin spoiler, and no rear wing.

  15. I've used the 2/3 oz. bottles of Pactra R/C car lacquer over PlastiKote automotive primer without any issues, although they dry flat so you do need to clearcoat them.

  18. I paint and wetsand the body first so that the paint has plenty of time to fully cure before polishing while I work on the rest of the model.

I generally use two different primers- Tamiya "fine" primer for interiors and parts that have details that are easily obscured, and PlastiKote automotive "sandable" primer for bodies and parts where I want to build up the surface a bit and sand it smooth. I usually prime everything except for when I use metalizer, which I usually spray on raw plastic.
