  4. Thanks guys!! George, I didn't know how you'd feel if I posted on your thread so I started this one.... Greg has some awesome resin and this one is no exception!!!!!!
  5. There was a thread talking about Greg Wahn's Eleanor and I didn't want to hi jack the thread by posting pics of it on there..... Greg's casting of the iconic movie Gone In 60 Seconds 2 is one of the best castings I've seen!!! As of these photos the car is near done!!! Just havle to put headlights in, strut tower braces and the three bar code spinners on the wheels!!!! Photos do not do this car justice!!!!! I used 32 Ford headlight buckets for the build, photoetched grille, three bar spinners. I can get some better pics up later if anyone wants me to!!!!! the paint is the actual color of the real car..... I also used Keith Marks GT 500 decal set...
  6. I use NASCAR chassis under quite a bit of my stuff to get it super low.... they work wonders!!!!!
  7. If it was me personally, and those that know me I like my stuff low as heck..... what you have started is looking good. As long as you can get the tires to tuck in behind them. As in grinding the backside with a Dremel and drum sander you may be able to get it to sit right. More the reason why I say build the chassis first with the ride height you want and then match the body to sit where you want it.... like I say I do that with my race cars and while I know I don't always flare the fenders but it does get the body down where I want it.... I use NASCAR chassis' even under street cars to slam them to the ground and have left the wheel wells stock.... like I said though looking at the stance and where you have the car "mocked" up at now all you may have to do is grind away at the backside of the flares being careful to not grind through them, and you could pull this off!!!!!!
  8. good to hear it's still being poured!!!!! I pulled mine out again and hoping to finish it up now that I have some foil to use on it.......... getting close now!!!!!!
  9. Not sure how I missed this but man you always amaze me by your builds!!!!!! Way kool John!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Ditto that, however I don't know if he's still pulling the Eleanor or not... You'd have to ask!!!!
  11. I've seen that too, if ya touch it it doesn't stick as nice!!!!
  12. Thanks KWT. Keep in mind the nose and tail are resin. Not sure how the 70 Cuda nose can be modified to fit!?
  13. but hey the denim could come back in though, with the whole retro movement and everything!!!!!
  14. Been tinkering on this build a little here and there. It's been primed in white and has its first few coats of color on it..... engine is assembled up to the coil covers which are being painted the Pearl Lime... I'll try to get some pics of soon!!!!
  15. Deck is cleared, fuel bungs are on, interior is being painted and trailer is being worked on..... Trailer winch is done....
  16. Cleared with foil started.....
  17. I originally asked due to the fact I messed up and started BMFing a car and had it most of the way and then realizing I didn't clear the car first...... darned Part Timers gets me from time to time!!!!!!! Anyway I cleared it today and it worked ok, now I have to finish foiling it and finish building it!!!!!
  18. I agree on the unibody Ford's too!!!! They would be a good seller!!!!!!!
