  1. More modern kits made of AMC Hornet's AMX's and Javelin's would all be kool!!!! 50's Packards 50's Mercury's I sent in a email to Mobious about the 70's era Chevy trucks and made mention it would be a nice compliment to go along with the Ford truck line they have out now. They said they would add them to the list!!!!! So let's hope!!!!!!!!!
  2. double posted for some reason
  3. I'd like to see them out, even the 69 TA!!!!!!!!
  4. Hello Gage, first off welcome to the forum!!!!!!!! One thing I notice on how your doing this and I've come across the issue as I was learning to do this type of build. One thing you may want to do in the future is mock up, or build your chassis as your going along. When you do body work like you've done already and start building the chassis you may find they don't match up. That will tend to a lot of wheel house axle narrowing etc. and can be a big can of worms... I like to build the chassis first so I know how far I can go with wheel wells and suspension so that I don't get frustrated later and shelve the kit...... I only say all of this as I look through the windshield and see how far the rear tires are sticking in, you may need/want to move the tires outward more and with body work done may be bothersome!! Overall, love what you're doing and how your going about it, love the look and attitude this is taking!!!!!!! Will be watching!!!!!!
  5. Looks great,
  6. I may try it on a scrap body first. If it works I'll clear my 56 if not I'll pull the foil off and foil later after clear... Or I may just get gutsy and shoot it and hope for the best.... LOL
  7. Did it dull right away or over time???
  8. That's good to know Steve, appreciate the advice!!!!!!
  9. tell ya, as long as your happy with what ya build that's all that matters my friend!!!!!!!! For others giving ideas on what you do is just their perspective on something from their point of view or style.... I think it looks bad to the bone!!!!!!!!
  10. Thanks Derrick, I'll be using Testor's High Gloss clear on mine!!!!
  11. Agreed, front axle is unloaded and the wrinkles in the slicks say it's under torque That being said, I know the gasser era stance is blown out of proportion as people saw the cars coming off the line and thought they looked kool when launching. Now a days people associate that "Look" with the way they sit while static.... That being said, the subject your building has it's own look and looks kool for what it is!!!!!!
  12. To me the hood scoop is a tad wide, would be kool to have flipped the air intakes to the rear of the super Charger and tucking them into the firewall area. Would allow for a narrower scoop and not so bulky on the nose.... just my two cents........
  13. I've used Future but not over foil.... thanks for the info John. I may use a clear coat as the whole body needs to be cleared too......
  14. Another good idea Jesse!!! That would be good to keep it from peeling off!!!!

Love it!!!!!!!! One thing I notice is what if you detailed the lug nuts just a bit.... It'd enhance the look a bit more... Overall though that is a wicked looking build, love the color combo you chose!!!!!!!!! Kool kool kool
