  1. Very kool, love your style and work!!!!!!!!!
  2. and I bet he knows where everything is too!!! Just like we all do..... lol
  3. My work area, model room is about 4 1/2 feet wide by about 7 feet deep and my workbench shelves and so on I have about a foot to shimmy myself down through it and that's moving stuff that I have stacked in the way so I can get to the back. I know what ya mean by waiting til ya get a house. I'm in the same boat and like you about the only way I'll get a house is if I win the Lotto, then again I have to start playing to have a chance!!!!! the only way I can go is up in my area.....
  4. A lot of beautiful cars in here but the Poncho your building Steve is utterly gorgeous!!!!!!!!!
  5. These are a few builds that Randy has done to give you an idea of the mind behind where this one came from!!!
  6. Thanks Jim!!!!!!!
  7. Ha ha, it helps to have a very twisted mind!!!!!!!!
  8. Hey Rider, drive train is already done. I'll take a few pics of the rolling chassis for ya in a bit......
  9. It lines up pretty good. Looking under the body shows how he cut and put it all together. My friend has a great eye for making something no matter what it is look "right"..... everything he builds is wicked kool!!!! Got the engine built last night.....
  10. build, build, build, build!!!!!!!!
  11. Very kool little hot rod there!!!!!
  12. This color plays different in light or without. Kind of kool how it looks in both natural light or indoors...
  13. Thanks guys, I will do that Mike. Hopefully I don't loose interest in it...
  14. Front clip is back on now. Interior and chassis has been fitted..... the work he did to the body work is kool, as he pointed out he matched the detail on the roof to match the cut out of the front end detail. Look at the photo from top of car....
  15. Foiling is done, interior being worked on right now along with getting Chrome bits ready to go on....
  16. I vote for the wide whites and possible painted steel wheels to match. Paint the roadster in a pale orange similar to what it is now. Wheels either in same color or a peachy/tan color, kind of skin toned.... make up a white up top for it. Laid back windshield frame. This has a look as it sits already but man o man it could be a sharp looker when done!!!!!!!! Or if ya really don't wann finish it ya can send it to me!!?? Lmbo
  17. great info, like I said I never used it and didn't know how it would do!!! May try it and see some day....
  18. MMI would of been Monogram Models Inc. as it's been said pretty sure the one you have is a Monogram and I believe to that AMT made one as well..
  19. Now that has a look!!!!! If you don't go after a Daniels theme on it, ya still gotta finish it!!!!!!!! Just to kool not too!!!!!!
  20. I don't want to open a can of worms, I've been reading along as you all post on here and it is really a lot of great info. My question is I have a touch up gun that I bought years ago and haven't used it. Would this style be ok to use for painting bodies or would an hvlp style be a better gun to use???? The one I have is similar to the photo below..... pic is borrowed from the web.....
  21. Great build!!! Looks awesome!!!!!
  22. thanks for the info Matt, as I get older I'm finding a need for one!!!
