  1. Nice.....
  2. Harry has it,,, due to the women and their long dresses made it easier for them to get in and out....
  3. Welcome, thanks for showing it off!!!!!
  4. Ditto that, would like to see the real car too!!!!
  5. Looking great so far!!!!!!!
  6. Very convincing work Lee, looks like real metal showing through!!!!!!
  7. Very kool work area!!!!!!
  8. Way kool!!!!!!!!! Love it, I take it your into rigs!!!!!! LOL
  9. They have guidelines and ules as to how they are built and what they need for chassis builds. Just like anything over here they have sanctioning bodies that control the rules and safety of the cars built.... They aren't cobbled together like the old modifieds and jalopies of yesteryear at all...
  10. Correct, sorry for the confusion. Tins are the sheet metal parts of the body as Deano mentioned....
  11. Some things have changed, of course the most noticable is the tins on the body. Most of whats underneath stays the same with a few changes. A friend of mine runs the 410 series and has ran the same chassis set up for 6 years now and has only changed the tins and paint... He is running an older Kinser chassis..
  12. Wow, I like the way that looks, laid out pretty nice!!!!!! Good for you!!!!!
  13. LOL, It ain't that neat now!!!!! A lot more has been piled into it!!!!!! LOL
  14. I'm liking what you have there!!!!! My workbench is an old hollow core door with the legs you can get at menards for a workbench. I just cut the legs off to bring it closer to the ground and cut the upright parts off for where the peg board would mount to.... Here is what I have for shelving on it... Just peices of wood cut and screwed together...
  15. I have partially built kits of a friend of mine that passed away over ten years ago now. I contemplated building them and finishing them, just can't bring myself to do it. If I finish it, it won't be by his hands.... They will be boxed as long as they are with me, maybe some year a voice will tell me to build them but for now, they rest!!!!
  16. Koollsssssvillleeeeeee
  17. If it were me, I'd leave it as is. It can be finished but it wouldn't be by him, keep it as a memory of your friend!!! Sorry for your loss!!! God Bless!!
  18. Something wicked this way comes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Awesome work, both are great looking builds!!!!!!
  20. Very kool and very well done!!!!!!!!! I've been wanting to do something like this for awhile now too but haven't started one...
  21. Ok John, I have but one question. After seeing this it's almost gotta be................ Did you chew on Crayons when you were young???? It's the only way I can figure that you build such WiLd and KrAzIe builds like you do........ This thing is WAY KOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Like the overall look and the floating grille bar.......
  23. I also like how you make use of all available space, like the outlet as a shelf to hold a Hot Wheel!!!!!!!! Great idea, some year when I get my dream model room, or something close to it I want to get a flat panel and do the same!!!!!
