  6. Very kool! I built one a few years ago using Sprint car chassis’s the worked. Be interesting to watch yours come together!! Not to hi jack your thread but give ya a big of inspiration if ya can use it!
  7. Thank ya!! Very little. Been working ten hour days for the last three weeks. Not a lot of building time... Hoping to get the body in primer so I can get closer to adding color to it.. Not sure when that’ll happen!!

  9. Thanks to Rick aka (pettyKW43) sent me a plethora of turbos and I was able to get the turbo and piping done on the Detroit... tube facing backwards on drivers side will be the inlet from the air cleaners...

  11. Got a few more things done on the SaltLick.. Front tires are on for good now. Had to drop the fuel tank down as the hood was hitting it and sitting to high. Hopefully get some primer on it soon!! radiator is mounted too..

  13. Nice backdrop!! I've been wanting to make a couple for myself. I usually use a piece of white backer board or my workbench clutter.. Been wanting to bite the bullet and make a nice one like you have here. A street scene of the front of an old hot rod shop of some sort...

  16. It happens Alan!! Lol I just remember what a friend told me years ago as a good starting point.. I also used the AMT Sedan body as that’s what my friend had. I started using the Revell 40 chassis under it too..
  17. Somebody years ago told me to use the Black Force snap kit grille as a starting point and go from there. It is close to a 38 Grille and is fairly close. I just never pulled the trigger and started the project...
  18. Very kool! I’ll be watching this one come together!! Always wanted to do a 38 Kustom but got hung up on the front end mods to do it.. Still have the project somewhere though...
  19. Lol. Yup I hide every where!! I dabble in anything and everything when it comes to plastic. If it’s not Kustoms, drag, salt, rigs, short track, bikes etc... I build ‘em all!! Thank you Francis!!
  20. Need to get back on this and do some more.. worked on the drive shafts again and finished them the other day..
