Sounds like a well thought out and good plan Richard!! Would love to see yours come to fruition someday!!! Mine has many of the characteristics of yours. Set back engine, will have dual roll bars, irs rear suspension from the Cobra, not sure if mine will have bumperettes or void of bumpers. Still deciding that one. Thought of cutting the Cobra ones into a different config. Oh and of course I went with the 427 base because,,, well need more power!!! LOL

Blue would look kool too but thinking my mind is set on the orange like the Duster.. Thanks!! LOL

Thanks gents!!! It's in base coat white right now and hopefully get a second coat soon. Then the blue... Forgot to mention I had to stretch the frame to match the Tbird wheelbase..

Cobra grille opening was used as well...

Started using a 57 Tbird body, 427 Cobra chassis and interior. 70 Coronet hood section for the roll pan in back. Wheel flares and header ports from Cobra. Based on illustration you see in pics.. splitters are Evergreen Plastic

Tbird is a Pikes Peak type build. It's based off of a illustration and is sitting on, Ray You'll like this, A 427 Cobra chassis... I'll try to remember to post some pics in a thread for it later.

I built Greg's using the Shelby kit for the remaining parts. Good quality and good fit on his, not sure if he's still popping them out or not though...

Pulled this back out again. Been tinkering with the front axle while paint cures on my Tbird.. Looking at the axle mounts and trying to figure how they are shaped. I have an idea and may be close to what they really are..

Well the door won!! Fixing the lower hinge on body side and snapped the upper hinge on the door side and to fix that I’d have to cut into the door to fix and not going there. So! Drivers door is now glued shut! It’s either that or it’s going in a box to be forgotten and I don’t want to do that...
