Sharp build Smelly. This brings back some memories for me, as when I was a kid I built this kit in the same colors (Testors Sapphire Blue, very similar), even sporting the Keystones as well. Your's is much better than what mine was though lol.

You sure did a great job, as it looks amazing. I've pulled this kit out of the stash only to put it back far too many times. This might just be the inspiration I need to actually start it, maybe sometime this year. Thanks for mentioning the issues you faced with this kit, I'll definitely keep them in mind.

Sweet overhaul! It looked good before, but this is a huge improvement. I'm biased though, lifted trucks are my thing. Wish I could help you with the tail lights.

Agreed, unfortunate but true. Look at that hideous Cherokee, based off the Dart platform. Though I will say the Renegade is a little better looking than the Cherokee, it's yet another "Mall Crawler" added to their lineup. I'm sure it will sell, though. I know these are the types of vehicles that sell these days but it's sad, in this purist's eyes, to see what Jeep has become. At least the Wrangler is still flying the flag, for the most part. For now....... Just my 2 cents, end of rant.

Thanks Mike, I'm sure your Cobra will turn out great also. I prefer to use lacquer as well, but still use enamels a fair bit.
