  1. Nice looking bikes! I just finished my first one 3 weeks ago.
  2. I have also done that Carl. I use a hair dryer to heat the plastic and paint then run outside spray one coat then put it in a warm place to flash off then repeat. Problem is you have to be quick. I have 2 cars in my collection that i have painted and cleared outside when it was 30 degrees that i have won awards with.
  3. Get several body's painted for the winter.
  4. Hmm i dont have that PM in my inbox.
  5. Interesting. Wonder how that happened?
  6. They look good. My only two suggestions would be the panel lines are too dark and you might try some Tamiya clear red over the taillights. I did it to mine and it looks a lot better.
  7. Really? Wonder why? I had 3 re builders that all had them, they were the first runs of the kit. Very odd.
  8. Very nice build of a not so great made kit. The rake of the windshield is the reason I sold off all of mine. Really kills the look of the car for me.
  9. I know but its all i had! Hey at least its got a 32 on it!
  10. Thanks guys! I dug into the photoetch and aluminum parts stash and got the rims, rotors, brake calipers, valve cover bolts, Alt bracket and fan, pedal covers, distributor coil and ignition key+ chain. A buddy had a P/E kit for the 32 and i used the grill and licence plate surround from it. The grill sets it off for me! I would have used a Model Cars Mag but i only have Scale Auto and a few hot rod type magazines printed out right now. I did not plan on building it this way, it kinda just came to life on its own!
  11. Won 1st in our club contest. There was 8 or 9 other cars. 20141019_102744 by jrherald420, on Flickr 20141019_104304 by jrherald420, on Flickr 20141019_104230 by jrherald420, on Flickr 20141019_104011 by jrherald420, on Flickr 20141019_104327 by jrherald420, on Flickr 20141019_104112 by jrherald420, on Flickr
  12. So much nicer looking than the metal parts! Have my rims made it to you yet?
  13. Pretty cool build. Will be watching for sure!
  14. It's a nice kit. I've built it once fender less and have another one I'm going to build with fenders.
  15. They are molding the Mustang in yellow now? Cool.
  16. Stunning work! I tip my hat to you!
  17. Wow those parts look killer! The rims are tires are very clean and crisp, you really make resin casting look good.
  18. Being a huge Mustang fan myself and owning 6 in the last 8 years.........i still think ALL Mustang II's are ugly! lol You can polish a turd......but in the end its still a turd!
  19. Wow how have i missed this thread! Great work!
  20. Why not use the Wicked Colors clear?
  21. That upright that looks like the vent window is only there to support the windshield frame. It should be cut off.
  22. I will trade you one for that Midget racer!
