  1. I like that! Does it come with the fender skirts? Nice garage too!
  2. I want to see that when it's done. I built one a few years back. It's a big model when completed. Good luck!
  3. Yes,come join us.... kidding-You'll like it here.
  4. I've been hearing that more and more about new versions having only the stock parts. What's up with that? and they still want the same price?
  5. The fender 'coves' are different from 61 to 62 too. Ah,just buy an original MIB 61 Vette from the bay...
  6. Not a problem. I found them here. A lot of good stuff. http://thedpmcc.com/instructionsintro.html
  7. I can't figure out why they keep making trucks bigger and cars smaller? The government wants cars that get 50 mpg,and they make these behemoths. Personally I'd like to see the return of the mini truck. probably won't happen until gas is $10 a gallon.
  8. I had one of the original kits from 62? And they had a lot more goodies back then. There was a clear window unit (front, back, side windows),and with this you could chop the top. There were styline pieces and some ugly ( I thought) 4 hole wheels. And don't forget the peel and stick inserts for the seats. Great kit,but it's long gone. That one's not bad,I have one in my stash. Here's some pics from the orignal instructions.
  9. Very cool! Love these kind of trucks.
  10. Sweet!!! love the dashboard and paint! I'm building an old MPC/AMT 67 coupe and I hope it looks half that good.
  11. That is a museum piece! I was looking at the other pictures and I saw the Ford C series garbage truck I want to do. He's already done it...
  12. Too cool! I'd love to do something like that! Nice artwork too.
  13. PC games. Nascar Racing 2003,Doom,Half Life,Quake, and Prey. And a few others. I remember playing DOS and text games. Seems like ancient history now.
  14. Driving on the sidewalk? And people acted like it was a bother to get out of the way!
  15. Wow,what a great build! You do nice work! It looks like it was pretty crude transportation to us,but that was probably a nice way to get around back then. Thanks for posting.
  16. i might as well join the party. It's hard to get a picture of all of them. They're in a little closet all by themselves. i'm fortuante to have my own studio just for modeling, artwork or whatever. I've got 37 boxes of parts in the basement, too. I even cleaned off the bench for you guys. LOL
  17. Not a car,but still strange. From Japan.
  18. According to the Crestline book on Ford trucks I used for reference,it's a T800. I guess because of the tandem axles. Single axles were F800's. Thanks for all the kind words!
  19. I know what you mean. I've been on both sides of the fence. I've packed built models really well (or so I thought) only to have UPS tear part of the box! Fortunately,It hasn't happened very often. My favorite purchase from-*koff* ebay *koff* was a Revell Big Deuce. The guy I bought it from just wrapped the box with clear box tape! I was amazed it was all intact and accounted for.
  20. That's what I'm talking about! I'm not sure what vintage to build. 50's 60's or 70's. Must..think...some...more.... Thanks,guys!
  21. Very retro! Can't wait to see it in paint.
  22. No not the drag car.. I was wondering if anyone has built an older 1/25th school bus. I've been toying with the idea for several years now.It would take some scratch building and casting, but I've done that before. Thanks
  23. Really nice build! Worth the wait.
  24. Thanks guys! I took some pictures of it to work and some people thought it was a real truck. I took that as a compliment.
  25. I foiled mine. Maybe try a little thinned Tamiya white over the foil? I know, they look kinda crappy because they're molded in. We understand..
