  1. These appear to be a 19" version of the wheels Exotics_Builder posted. Very nice but 19" is too large for the car I want to replicate.
  2. Understood Casey and thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I don't have the Monogram kit to evaluate the wheels. I have been poking around in my stash trying to find a suitable wheel center and rim but no luck yet.
  3. I looked at the Fujimi BMW 635CSi kit. Wheels are very nice center lock but have no staggered offset front to rear.
  4. I modified this hardtop to fit the AMT 289 body and HRM includes it as part of his DragonSnake transkit.
  5. HRM still offers this kit as far as I am aware. It is the Le Mans hard top Transkit. As you can see the trunk area of the AMT kit had to be modified so the hardtop did not cover the trunk lid. The photo above was the kit I purchased and here is my finished build.
  6. She has been worked hard.
  7. This is the project I want to build. Looks like the the SSR Formula Mesh that Exotics_Builder posted might be the best option. $$$ -
  8. Fujimi offers the biggest selection in the 911 series. They offer both curbside (no engine detail) and full detail kits. The full detail kits are more challenging. Here is some information I have assembled on the Fujimi kits: https://race-car-models.proboards.com/thread/1173/fujimi-enthusiast-kits
  9. The RS500 wheels are similar but not quite the same.
  10. Anyone know a source for these wheels but in a 5-bolt pattern, 16" diameter?
  11. The RSR wing ("whale tail" or "tea tray" whichever you prefer) was much larger than the production car version. Germany would not allow Porsche to install the larger wing on the production cars. Thankfully Reji offers the competition wing. It is designed for the Tamiya Porsche 934 kit but can be massaged to fit the Fujimi body. I added a brass pin to hold the wing in place. www.spotmodel.com/product_info.php?products_id=18240
  12. Want to do an RSR conversion for the Fujimi kit. Started with a smashed flat nose body much list this to create the front faring. Removed the rubber moldings Filled the light openings Enlarged the oil cooler opening Cut the bumper free from the body Attached the bumper to the Fujimi RS 3.0 body and created the brake cooling ducts.
