I would recommend superglue.

I use the 289 from the Revellogram 64-66 Mustang or Shebly GT350 kits for my Cobra builds. I scratch build the headers and source my Webber carbs and manifold from HRM. Randy at Model Builders Warehouse offers some very nice 3D printed Webers as another option. Also Randy caries HRM's FIA engine which would give you everything you need.

When Porsche competed the RSK in the F2 championship they would convert it to center steer. The car is paying homage to that configuration.
