  1. If you take on either of these builds Chris I hope you will share them here on the forum with us. The more Motorsports subjects on here the better I say. Good luck with your search.
  2. Thought the clear photos of the article might eliminate the need to find a back issue - my apologies for posting it.
  3. What type of plastic are promos made of? Is it styrene? Does it cut and sand the same as a model kit? What glues work?
  4. Thanks Rusty. The beast fits in there snugly for sure.
  5. Impressive work Eric and those tiny o-rings would be very useful. Here is my build-up of the SOHC from the Moebius Comet AFX.
  6. Pocher are impressive kits, looks like you are doing a fine job with it.
  7. Thank you Bruce. The build took around 2-years, I drug my feet on the decals for another 2-years before a friend came through with a very nice custom printed set of decals. It was worth the effort, the award was just icing on the cake.
  8. I have a Revell '53 Corvette I would be willing to trade Jason, if you are interested.
  9. Not quite as fragrant as a manure spreader. Looks like a great project.
  10. I'm a Porschephile as well. I've built the Tamiya and Fujimi 911 kits. The 911 is timeless IMHO. Nice work Gary. - both of you.
  11. Thanks Jason. The fan belt was made from masking tape colored with a Sharpie marker. I super-glued one end on the bottom pulley in an inconspicuous place. After letting it setup it trimmed the length and glued the other end drawing it tightly as I could manage. Thank you Gary. It was nice to finally meet you in the flesh.
  12. Coming along nicely Joel.
  13. A resin kit is due to be released (soon I hope) of the Capri MkI
  14. I was fortunate enough to win the Rally Category at NNL Mid-Atlantic on Saturday for my Escort. My first ever model award - very honored.
  15. You Tim, and Mark as well do a great job on these NASCAR builds. I particular like the more unusual cars.
  16. If it's a nice kit I would be very interested in one, please keep us (me) updated on the kit's progress.
  17. If you want to get rid of Chardonnet I'll trade you a true rally Hasegawa kit for it.
  18. Thanks Dann. Removed the gas tank, fabricated bumper mounts and made a patch panel for the lower corner of the rear quarter where it had broken off.
