  1. Thanks Shay, glad you like it.
  2. Very nice Tony.
  3. Snake, no I like it with out the side window frame. I'll fill the seam at the roof edge. I'll also be adding a roll hoop just behind the door that will create a break in the side window opening. Tom, I'll be adding some through bolt detail to the traction bars, needed the glue to setup before I drilled the flanges. I really enjoy building engines. Thanks Scott & Steve.
  4. Very cool.
  5. Fabricated a simple set of ladder/traction bars. Bumper/grille fitted. Cleaned up the wheel wells, removed the trim on the top edge of the rear fender and the script on the C pillar.
  6. Just my opinion but I would strip the chrome from the engine parts and paint them aluminum like the 1:1
  7. Some great slice & dice going on here Kurt.
  8. Very nice Tony.
  9. Very nice Mike.
  10. This is the original MPC Cyclone installed on a PL chassis with the 429 engine. The 429 is a very snug fit.
  11. Porsche liked to test their car by competing in this event as well. Great build.
  12. Try the Silver Leaf Christopher - I think you will like it. I work to get the right stance Scott - thanks. Thanks Dann. The 260/289 blocks were painted black in previous years. In '66 Ford changed to their Corporate Blue. http://www.mustangandfords.com/how-to/paint-body/mump-0308-select-correct-vintage-mustang-engine-paint/
  13. Great kit bash project Tom, I'll be following.
  14. Turned out great Nathan.
  15. Interesting project Russel, I'll be following. Also like your Cobra Berlinetta project. I started a similar Cobra project awhile back modifying the AMT Cobra custom top. Hope your project (and mine) gets back to active status soon.
  16. The Thunderbolt was only available in '64.
  17. This: plus the engine from any of these: I've used the 1/24 scale 289 in a few 1/25 scale projects with not fit issues and it looks right. AMT 1/25 scale Cobra with the 1/24 scale 289/260.
  18. Revell '41 Willys provided all the suspension parts for this build
  19. https://robbreport.com/motors/cars/zagato-resurrects-porsche-356-2748376/ "Porsche cognoscenti will know that there was a special series of Italian-designed, 356-derived vehicles built in the 1960s. Known as Porsche 356 Abarth GTL Coupes, these rarities were, initially, supposed to be a collaboration between the houses of Ugo Zagato and Carlo Abarth, the latter a still-celebrated name in tuning. But for a host of logistical reasons and miscues, that deal fell apart and left only Abarth as a collaborator with the German marque." This doesn't clear up who designed the body however. I have a 1/24 scale resin body of the Abarth but no glass!!
  20. I understand they found this drawing for a coupe in the Zagato archives while they were doing the research. I believe this body style will be offered as well.
  21. I like it.
  22. The Canon Ball release of the Tokyo Marui/Tilt kit.
  23. I like it Rex! Wish I could convince someone to produce the recessed hub Mini-lite wheels. They look good on the Corvettes of that era as well.
