  1. Shelby had the Dragon Snake that would make this the Dragon Frog.
  2. The Revellogram '68 Corvette includes these style mirrors. Sorry don't have a set to offer.
  3. Interior looks great Steve. Been many years since I have driven a column shift vehicle - and I haven't missed it one bit!
  4. I believe most body trim is stainless steel in lieu of chrome. Wondering if matte aluminium BMF might be a better choice than the bright chrome. Anyone every try it?
  5. Some examples of MM Nassau Blue.
  6. Thanks Steve. Now comes the nerve racking part for me Joe - paint and BMF! I so rarely use BMF (not a big chrome guy) that I am still working off the first sheet I ever bought. Thanks Mike. Stance and wheel/tire combination are requirements 1 and 1A for me so I work hard to get those right.
  7. Thanks Trevor, glad you enjoy the builds. Full mock-up.
  8. This is insane! Thanks for the pictures Bill.
  9. Nice to see it back on the road Bill.
  10. Thanks for the info Mike (posted below). Safety Fuel Cells were permitted in '68. My Falcon is as it appeared in '67 at Mid-Ohio when stock tanks were still required.
  11. Thanks John & Guy. I was unable to determine exactly what the orange structure was at the back of the car so I built my own version trying to make it strong yet light as possible. The legs attach to the frame rails with some flat stock to tie them together and a piece of angle protruding downward to protect the fuel tank from a collision from behind.
  12. Reading the rules more closely, it looks like the fuel filler type can be changed... but the location where the filler attaches to the tank must be stock.
  13. Clean classic hot rod - love it. I'll be following your build.
  14. Thank you gentlemen. Finished interior.
  15. Great project - I'll be following.
  16. Welcome Phil. How 'bout those Pens!!
  17. Thanks Shay. Couldn't find the Tamiya paint I wanted so bought Model Master Champagne Gold Metallic. According to the builders of these Mustangs this is the paint they used.
  18. Thanks Floyd. I remember your "Lotus" Falcon Phil-great project. Thanks Joe - getting close to final paint.
  19. Well done.
  20. Hood pins installed. Drilling into the edge of the core support (its only 0.75mm thick) was like threading a needle!
  21. A little of both I think Tom. They are averaging over 130 MPH on a lap. Top speed pushing 200 on public roads!
  22. Isle of Man on Velocity channel this week.
  23. Okay one last comparison, Gramps46 was kind enough to send me a Lindberg Daytona Coupe which is marked 1/24 scale. Just more confirmation that the Gunze kit is 1/25 scale.
  24. Nice. I think this may be my favorite TD kit.
  25. Great project, the frame is particularly nice.
