  1. If you section the dump pipe between the header outlet pipes the flanges will no longer be in plane (aligned) with one another so that won't work.
  2. Very nice.
  3. Lots of different ways to create flairs. Here is a link to how I did it on a Porsche 914/6GT. I used regular Tamiya putty for blending and spread it with my finger.
  4. Thank you for the comments gentlemen. I have shown it to a resin caster and we are discussing a trans-kit - stay tuned.
  5. They look awesome Joseph. I might have to come up with a project to use them on.
  6. Love it Brian, keep it coming.
  7. Great start and impressive BMF work.
  8. Sorry for all the similar pictures but I like to make one revision at a time in hopes that I don't make a mistake and have to start over. Here I have refined the side window shape. As a reminder here is where we started.
  9. Coming along nicely Art. There was on of these kits on ebay the other day. I was tempted to bid on it.
  10. Those are nice but a bit pricey. HRM offer some nice one-piece wire wheels that I used on my build of CSX2026. I'll use them again this build.
  11. Thanks Mike. Yea Cobra where in a constant state of development with improvements being incorporated along the way. In addition they where hand built so some variation is inevitable.
  12. This is the only sheet I could find - No El Cid
  13. Thanks Gene. Maxx do you know if they have the El Cid decals?
  14. I wasn't satisfied with the back edge so I extended it to better represent the top on El Cid.
  15. Quick mockup. Not the correct wheels but I think the stance looks good.
  16. Some great pictures there Dave, thanks for posting them. I would love to see that black '62/'63 Falcon hiding under the tarp
  17. That's it. I sectioned it down the middle and removed 3 mm (3 scale inches) then just sanded and shaped it.
  18. Continuing to refine the hardtop. I stood the windshield up a bit more and added some locating aids.
  19. Excellent wheel/tire choice.
  20. I have read this article. Thanks for posting it. I really like the color of this car but that convertible up top would be challenging to recreate. From my research: Phase I: single 4-barrel carb, 270 HP Phase II: dual 4-barrel carbs, 300 HP Phase III: Weber carbs, 325 HP
  21. I love it, clean vintage hot rod.
  22. Maxx is referring to this build where I have enlarged and flared the rear wheel opening to replicate the '63 Sebring Cobra..
  23. Thanks for the comment gentlemen. I'll show it to HRM and see if he is interested in casting it.
