I like what you are thinking! The AMT '67 Mustang/Shelby has a much nicer 289 - if you have one lying around. Or even the Revellogram '66 Mustang/Shelby 289 - I've used it in a few 1/25 scale projects.

I was aware but thanks for sharing. They have restored a few of the Group II cars.
