The switch can be made from plastic rod and flat sheet.

Just wrap wire of the correct gauge around something round of the correct diameter. I used this method to create the spring for the exhaust pipe and the shock springs here: And for the headset cables here:

I’m thankful we have members on the forum with the knowledge and dedication to critique kits – particularly new tool kits. We should appreciate those that put forth the effort to document and describe issues/discrepancies. This allows us the make informed purchases. I would hope the manufacturers appreciate the feedback as well even if it isn’t all rainbows and lollipops. That being said the kit has some good points and I will likely purchase one when I run across one. It is the basis of a very nice gasser kit bash if nothing else.

This is a great way to compare/contrast the subjects. I agree the switching is too fast. Can it be made manual to switch back and forth when you click on it?

I'm no photographer but I use a piece of poster board propped up on my work bench to hide the background clutter when I'm taking progress photos. This help my camera focus on the subject of the photograph and not the surrounding objects. Enjoying the project.
