Dale Wood Mustang T/A: AJ Foyt drove this Dale Wood Mustang in the first Trans-Am race, Sebring March 25, 1966. Foyt was leading when he retired the car due to a blown head gasket. The car was destroyed in wreck at Green Valley May ‘66. Wood states he ordered the sedan from Carrol Shelby but the SAAC does not recognize the car as a Group II Mustang.
